Just works like that in MP. Don't know if I'm going to pick up Beatles.

Yeah, the Gretsch is what I'm using but my woman has to use the Hofner for now until I get the Rickenbacker replaced and she doesn't like how long the neck is. lol
Speaking of the Hofner bass, I'm really disappointed that they made it into a righty guitar instead of keeping it lefty.
I've never been able to play past medium on any GH/RB game but I might force myself to start playing Beatles on hard just to see if I can make myself get better.
I'm pretty sure singing doesn't come through on multiplayer, someone was actually complaining on the RB forums about singing not letting you do certain things online like 3 part harmonies but not sure if that's correct.
Some of us have been playing since GH1 (yay for the no-hammer days), and have gotten to the point where we can start off any new rhythm game of the Guitar-sort on Expert since they've pretty much gotten to the point now where difficulty is solely based on the music selection.
(until Activision finds a new way to artificially increase difficulty in GH, unlike Harmonix who sticks to a more natural finger-chart approach for RB)
Beetles also doesn't appear to be very difficult (for the veterans) according to some YouTube vids I've seen, so it doesn't surprise me that there are people who have beaten it on Expert within the first day or so.
And god, I had an impulse buy on the Freezepop pack (<3 them and their select tunes across all the Harmonix rhythm games) the second it came out on Canadian PSN. All I need now is Free Bird and Jordon and I don't have to boot-up GH2 ever again.
Don't get beatles if you want a challenge, I already FGFC'd it![]()
Deal was broken for me the second they mentioned no song-import either to/fro RB2.
I just can't stand disc swapping for particular songs, bugged me enough with GH 1/2/3 depending on my mood.
Wasn't RB2 supposed to get a patch sometime that included the game logging your star completion? I see Beetles finally does that for you, so I'm curious if what I read a long while ago was either regarding Beetles, or something that got carried over in the process of programming it.
(and I mean for quickplay, not tour)
Dude, you can switch the base around and change the control scheme to left-handed. I did it on accident one time. Funny stuff. It'll switch the colors and everything for you.
And yea, you can't do three part harmonies online. I am disappoint, but I still love the game to death so far. I feel kind of pathetic. I could do What I've Done on expert mode but I couldn't even do Eight Days A Week on hard. XD
but unsurprising
when they announced GH Wii people were making wii zapper dimebag jokes

Tribute is my favorite song of theirs. Is that on RB 2 or RB? For the RB Network are there different songs available for 1 and 2?
To De Betermined
hah, whoops didn't notice I did that
It's so funny when I sing vocals in this song. I don't know every beatles songs so I try to pick the ones that guitarists and drummers will like too... and then they leave because they're bored.
Well shit, how do you think I feel when you pick songs like "I Me Me" over and over again? This is the fucking Beatles, not Death Metal.
Anyway, I love the game still and it always brings a smile to my face to see their old pictures and watch some of the videos you can unlock. Once I get a mic stand I'm going to sing and play an instrument simultaneously.
Oh, and I figured out multiplayer. You can have 3 people singing online at the same time but it can only be on your wii unless someone else picks vocals.
Played Beatles last night, and I'm pretty fucking happy I didn't buy it.
that bad, or just easy/boring?
For hardcore guitar hero players I can see why it's boring. For casual players it's awesome. I guess you also have to be a big Beatles fan.
