Have you tried calling http://www.gameswarehouse.com.au? They are listing the US version for pre-order, but they might just have not put the EU version up yet, rather than not getting it in at all.

I just sent them an e-mail enquiring about whether or not they'd get the European version in too.

Edit: They replied to my e-mail letting me know that they're still trying to source a supplier for the European version.

Yeah I'm most probably going to be getting a friend to grab a few copies when it comes out, upload it to my server, then grab it and install with the keys he gives me. Send over the proper copies via snail mail.. no other way I can think of to be playing on the same day as it goes live.

I play on ps2 most of the time but on my comp I have the EU version of the game(from a friend) any EU player out there able to seed the new expansion? Would really rather not buy 2 versions of this expansion one having to be shipped in :/

Linlial, same prblem here in perth. Have called EB a few times and they know nothing of it. They keep saying just download it from the website.. Im pretty sure SE said they wont be doing that? Anyway i found the same thing last time with ToAU, i called for weeks and they said they knew nothing of it, then it just appeard over night... GogoAustralia! Btw does anyone know the general delivery time if ordered from a place like gamewarehouse? Id really like to have it as close to Start time as possible.

So anyway, I'm importing a PC and PS2 version for the 2 codes I need... but I mainly play on 360 so I need a copy of that one too. >_<

But with the recent discovery of mid Dec release date for the expansion in stupid PAL lands, looks like I'll be playing on the bloody PS2 version for a month ugh.

Does anyone know by any chance if the original 360 FFXI release was 'region free'? Some games are and some aren't on Xbox, just wondering if theres a chance the new expansion could be.
