Hmm.. Well I think the most likely thing for the show in California is that they'll say something about all the job adjustments they've been talking about a lot lately.
Actually, what's more likely is that they'll show us a timeline for how we won't get most of the content for another 6 months, which will actually turn out to be a year from now, and talk about how they have a lot planned for job adjustments. But they won't actually give us any info.
I was going to bitch about job adjustments that were promised to us, which actually turned out to be disappointing Cat2 merits.
Then I realized my main job is Paladin.
Then I sat back and drank a martini & enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

In WotG, the monsters in the past will be smarter than their counterparts of the present, and thusly will make them uncharmable. BST will be (continue to be) usless once again. Oh and because they dont want adventuring fellows to mess it up for everyone like they did in CoP!
To be frank, perhaps one of the biggest excitements about this year's FanFest, in comparisson with last year's, is that the event is indoors.
Last year it was in a giant tent, mostly outside, while walking in freezing temperature weather and rain.
Maybe what they have planned to show us at fanfest is them killing AV... They said they would consider fighting AV in front of the crowd at fanfest a while ago, no?
Watch them do it with a GM team, and feign ignorance of what we really intended by asking them to kill AV for us.Originally Posted by Pyree
And then watch them forget to turn on invulnerability mode, and wipe.
I'd love for them to do the job adjustment plans overview for Fanfest again this year..
Its nice to know the direction that SE wants to take for each job.. and gives players something to hope for.
I also thought they did conclude at 2 new jobs this expansion?
Santa Monica Pier in March. The place wasn't too bad during the day, but when it got late... I felt so bad for the ladies in the Mithra costumes. Even with blankets and a portable heater, they looked cold. Between that and the fact that the city of Santa Monica managed to find an excuse to give me a parking ticket every single day of the event, I was glad to hear they're doing it somewhere else this time.Originally Posted by riddaraan
thats what makes me sad..... the festival is like 15 minutes away from me and im doing nothing that weekend... but i dont have my car down here (colej stoodent) and when i find out an LS buddy lives somewhere down here... damn tickets sold out ; ; so no Fan Fest for me ; ; but i will be f5ing BG xD
advance tickets are sold out, they'll have some at the door for $100 a pop.
I hope so too actually. I'd think that since Osaka fanfest was more like a general overview, maybe CA fanfest would be more in depth and hands on with the goal of the expansion as a whole.Originally Posted by Spira
