    Part Number question

Is there a way to find the part number for hardware without actually taking my computer apart? I just need my motherboard part number. Or more easily is there a way to tell what kind of RAM you have without taking it apart? I'd look in the book except my dad has it or got rid of it since he built this computer a while ago.

    I give you... Cpu Z!

    http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

Tells much information about your computer: cpu, motherboard, ram.

$35 is a good deal for a GB of ram. Your computer must be really old though, DDR PC2100 . Thats really freakin slow.

    Re: Part Number question

Yeah, I've had this motherboard for a couple years now and I don't feel like upgrading to a new one with a new chipset just yet. Until I find something to run on my PC that requires an overhaul, I'm content with BG and FFXI
