Lungo-Nango wasn't a Scholar indeed (esp. as a Beastmaster lol), but he had a brilliant tactical mind-- he did kinda birth the job after he wrote the Grimoire (it's a *green* book for some reason).Originally Posted by Khamsin

I take it as "discover a new job for FFXI and it is also an old favoriteof the series."
*edit copy*
It looks to me as just 2 new jobs

Guess dancers can tank...
The ToAU site evolved as they added more jobs, remember people doing pixel counts to see if their was room in the middle, and then when PUP was added they moved them all completely and changed them. So by going off of the site a very changable thing I think is just silly. I'm still holding out for a tank announced at Fan festival.
Also remember when SE announced PUP they said with a dorkish little guy " THE THIRD AND FINAL JOB!!!! THEEEEEEE PUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPETMASTER!!! "
Can't believe people are still going by space on the POL site as to how many new jobs there will be, especially after it made them look all kinds of stupid when they did it for ToAU before PUP.
Because web pages are completely static and unchangeable....
So they added a mage and a DD/support. I guess it would be fitting to add a tank, or another LOLPET job

Or it can just be 2 jobs and they were going for pure symmetry.
Why do we even bother to prove these people wrong?
1. THATS WAS A GEOMANCER LOL
2. NO MORE JOBS LOL
3. NO MORE EXPANSIONS AFTER ToAU LOL
4. NO JOBS IN WoTG LOL
5. DANCER IS FEMALE ONLY LOL
6. THE SPACE LEFT ON WEB SITE PROVES ONLY 2 JOBS LOL
and the thousands of others these people make up on a daily basis.

Oh shi-
It's pretty cool that they are reusing crap like Schultz's Strategems. Where's Ginuva and his/her theories?!
I give it until tomorrow till people start putting these in /p macros. If your enemy is strong, weaken him with dark magic.
If your enemy is weak, attack him with elemental magic.
If your allies are strong, support them with enhancement magic.
If your allies claim victory, prepare them for the next battle with healing magic.
And yeah, there will probably be atleast 1 more job.
I say change that to when, to support the arrogance of Scholars (I just assume they look arrogant ) Also if they really are all that your bound to win right? If your enemy is strong, weaken him with dark magic.
If your enemy is weak, attack him with elemental magic.
If your allies are strong, support them with enhancement magic.
When your allies claim victory, prepare them for the next battle with healing magic.
Otherwise the whole thing seems kind of "Iffy"

Based on the udpate schedule, only two jobs seems to be reasonable. If more jobs are released, I wouldn't complain, but BRP is probably correct in asserting that two jobs will be it.
