edit: might question the inclusion of Ninja Gaiden Sigma in that list, because it's effectively a re-release of Ninja Gaiden Black with extra stuff. A little like the Saturn version of Symphony of the Night.

i forgot folklore.. and ngs looks awesome and plays awesome, and if you don't own a 360 then it's a good buy. (and even if you do it still probably is, since it's technically better than black )

For all the arguments about Assassin's Creed, I think it's a game to pass on. Reading all the reviews have given it an average of a low 7 on a scale to 10. Repetitive gameplay, sucky AI, and a plot twist ruined in the first 5 minutes sounds like a loser to me. I'd say at the very least this is a rent-first-buy-later type of game

Who other than 1up.com gave it a low score? They gave it a 7, but the other 3-4 reviews that I've seen have been in the 9.0-9.3 area.

So... basically Saga was calling people "wapanese" because they said Assassin's Creed was developed for PS3? That makes perfect sense. Not.

Anyways I didn't read much after all the stupid idiotic shit, but I guess I'll reiterate some games.

Call of Duty 4
Assassins Creed (good game if u get past the fact that it gets repetitive)
Ratchet and Clank
Ninja Gaiden: Sigma
Resistance: Fall of Man (I'd pass it up if I get CoD4, though this is definitely a great game)
Uncharted

And probably a few other games I can't think of at the moment, but these are most definitely at the top tier.

Why is no one adding Folklore to their list, I hear the game is awesome (plus I loved the demo.. going to get through to it eventually once i've finished with some games on my list..)

I say at least rent Resistance too... it might not be a keeper since the online is pretty much useless with CoD4 out now, but it's still fun to play through its campaign mode.

I never really played Folklore, and the first demo I played of it, wasn't too great...though I hear the newest one was way better...guess I'll check that out!

it works, theres a download you have to get from the ps store to make ps2 games that require the hdd to work, came out last december.
