i am 6/13 already
people keep undercutting though, i've only sold 2 so far and the price has dropped almost 50k in a day -_-

I've noticed there's some people in Siren that forms teams to monopolize the Devil Manta spot..This could be fair if thei would be on keyboard while fishing.People like Shadowmantis Mattaca Sevilla Thefro are using some kind of app to AFK fish up Devil Manta.
GMs wonts do anythings,this is driving me crazy ; ;

i used to be able to fish them up pretty easily. but lately i have been having a lot of trouble, any ideas why? i always use composit rod and sinking minnow. same thing i always used, anyone else had trouble lately?

I've always been told fly/shrimp lure. Never heard of using sinking minnow; maybe that's why? Or maybe sinking minnow caught them in Cape Terrigan and not Kuftal?

U can't fish them up in Cape Terrigan anymore. Almost impossible to drain there HP to even attempt to pull them uo.

Someone did, and didn't even get a message when they fished it up. There are no mantas in terrigan regardless if u fish the hard thing up.

How long has it been since you can't fish them in terrigan? And any real reason why they did this?

I have no idea, I was under the impression that you can still fish them up, they just didn't drop the angel skin anymore.

If my memory serves me, they patched fishing up Devil Mantas @ Teriggan a couple months before they patched the thing where AoE could hit people outside your party/alliance, because I would (accidently) MPK some parties with Whirlwind/Maelstrom.

Also, to those wondering about bots being able to tell, I can unquestionably say that they can, or at least were able to a few months ago; I had one that I used at Kuftal. The "weight" of a crab is obviously quite small, pugil is large, and manta is -slightly- (10%ish) larger than pugil.

I usually can tell if I have a Manta, but its rare I get it, I will chuck away the crab as the Bar and resistance is low, the Pugil tends to have a greater resistance but not too hard, Manta is strong resist and bigger bar to deplete. In my cases this has been true but not an exact science. I'm usually alone, but there's one RMT guy who pisses me off to the MAX, who fishes them up time after time when he's there -.-;.

When hes not there, I went 2/2 on the skins yesterday, and as I am writing this post, I've just killed and got another skin >_>; - My 2nd day of being here.

No we do not share drops - We go by the simple rule - You fish, your drop - We band together as we are good bunch of trustworthy friends. As in one screenshot there's an exception where Guiden and Snowblind share there's.

Now I'm sick of trying to explain on FFX-AH via comments that you non-believers need to stop failing? Why is it so impossible for someone to get lucky with drops? It's like saying Fafnir wont drop a Ridill 2 days in a row because it dropped on the first one... Faulty logic by methods of probability based on the mechanics of a game doesnt coincide with a RL luck given situation...

Just go fail somewhere else who else challenges my comments about Angel Skins? - If we really start having to ask the fishers who fish with me on Asura?. Be my guest ask the people in the screenshot about the back 2 back drop^.


P.S. I also have double drops from yesterday's 1 I got and 1 Rezardbales got - Just ask and i'll prove the 3rd time....

Wow, what a waste of time in life. Do you really think anyone cares Kenseii? You are wasting your own time to prove something nobody really cares about. I read the posts on ffxiah.com and all they are saying is, they want factual statements on there, no fabricated opinions and how your luck is SO much better than everyone elses. My original Post WAS factual and helpful, bit I gave drop-rate as insight, but then get the replies and posts which are no use ant not constructive just attacks? I think I had the need to defend myself nor like to be called a liar. It wasn't a waste of my time, took less than 5mins. If anything I was trying to point out with my original comment that its fairly easy and not to "not bother" with it because of what people say. Is that so wrong in trying to say to people that the drop-rate is not what it seems and everyone has a good chance? or am I just facing people on FFXI-AH who dont want people to come flooding down there? Hmm must be it.
I never wanted any1 to give a flying crap about my rate, but the purpose was lost in people thinking I wanted to "hey im attention whore" wasnt the case. The post above remarks my attempt in proving the commenters wrong and anything is possible. If what I did was wrong i dnt give a crap either, the point is... this drops often and people should know.

Well maybe its in your wording. But from the looks of it, several people, including myself, aren't getting the impression that you're trying to help other people. Instead it seems like your trying to shove your greatness down everybody's throat. That is why people are getting on you. I guess I just don't understand why you would want to tell the world how you made a million dollars in a day. I would think you would want to keep it secret, so you could keep making more... I suppose if I told everyone that I had an incredible drop rate on the Merc. Kris, they would all want to start farming for them too, and then what happens? My profits are cut in half or fourths. Go read any post on ffxiah and you will see that nearly ALL the posts bragging about drop rates, all get rate downs. Its just not what people like to read. If I go farm for 8 hours and get nothing, then read your post, I would be pissed too! I just think you need to take a different angle on this, and try to see this from somebody else's perspective. But you know, it is just a game.
