Fishing up Devil Manta

I'm not seeing where 3 in a row dropped 2...

i used to be able to fish them up pretty easily. but lately i have been having a lot of trouble, any ideas why? i always use composit rod and sinking minnow. same thing i always used, anyone else had trouble lately?

I've always been told fly/shrimp lure. Never heard of using sinking minnow; maybe that's why? Or maybe sinking minnow caught them in Cape Terrigan and not Kuftal?

With sinking minnow, it can catch a Cave Cherax (http://www.finalfishing.com/Fish.aspx?fid=22). Not sure if rod effects it though? But it's a lvl 100 fish you can fish up there, so it may be breaking your rod when you're thinking it's a monster.

I didnt think I'd need to make it any more clear but ... if you look at the time intervals on the second set of screenshots that was 1st manta drop, 2nd manta no drop(not inc because i dont take wasteless screens) , 3rd manta dropped - Now if you dont believe i dnt really care, but if u wish I can jst get those people present to clarify >.>; - It wasnt meant for anyone but the people who posted from Bismarck.




@ The post above - If you catch a fish like a Cave Cherax it'll tell you that you do not have enough skill and let go. But those are pretty rare for me to even have me catch that. I use Composite + Fly lure, doesn't really matter I've seen people use other varities with no problems on catching.

The term "2 drops in a row or Double drops" - I think you find this is what was meant : Manta 1:drop, Manta 2: Drop - but the point was I have more proof if needed about it dropping twice in a row. Yes my choicing of words was incorrect, but it was intended to say me and Rezard got the 2 that dropped 1 after the other.

I go with a friend to Manta. After you pull up all 4 fish (2 crabs, 2 pugils) the next fish will be 100% be a manta, but it's usaully best to do this while no one else is here because you need to keep the 4 fish ALIVE otherwise the immeadiatly reset and you made find yourself just fishing up another pugil. Also as for some fish that seem "impossible to fish" up arent monsters. They are legendaries. The one in kuftal i think is a cave cherax and you will get him on the line alot if your using a certain rod combo.

Can confirm this still works, it's how the RMT groups do it on my server anyway, one nin holds the crabs/pugils, once all 4 are up next monster is awlays the manta.

I only have one very pressing question after reading all of these posts:

Where did Kenseii get those cool "Tools" to allow him to have his Warcry and Utusemi Ni timers up on the screen?

One would have to think that if someone is going to boast about how great they are, they would be intelligent enough to mask that they achieve results in this game by using abilities that put them at an advantage over their contemporaries. That's not to say that "Tools" were in fact used to fish up the Devil Mantas. There is no proof of that. But, one such as I would have to speculate that if a person uses one "tool" they would be more inclined to use others. There are no "Tools" for my trusty old PS2 so I get to play the game and enjoy it as it was meant to be played.

I really don't care if he was trying merely defend his honor. There is no honor among thieves! Some people should spend more time towards trying to "Get Over Themselves" and less on defending their arrogance.

This is merely my perception or some of the elements of this posting and my opinion thereof.

Other than the Ranting, Whinning, and the I'm Special Everybody Loves me...... Great post and I gained a lot of really useful knowledge.

Much as the guy is being retarded by not understanding what "double drop" means, using FFAssist hardly counts as a fishbot.

2 years ago, people kinda cared about FFAssist and called people cheaters. Not really worth it anymore, it's not the same thing.
