The main thing is that mining Mount Zhayolm is just SHITTY. Fishing isn't shitty, and I enjoy doing it. Ditto crafting, and to a certain extent farming. I don't know anyone who is all "Man, I just love to mine Mount Zhayolm; I wish I could do it more, but those damn RMT are getting in my way". I do know a lot of frustrated fishers and crafters. I'm sure people in the former group must exist, because pretty much everything is enjoyed by someone.

Of course, I'm biased; I make money (as I can) via fishing and crafting with a bit of farming, not mining. But since RMT got in on the action, and a lot more ores became available, I see smithers (real players) making money on ingots. I see good players that do very well at Salvage but not so well at making money being slightly more hopeful about getting a body piece done one day. I haven't heard from anyone who loved to mine Mount Zhayolm for money and is all emo now. I guess maybe there are some sad ISNM permas? I don't know these people.

Yes, I would like to see the RMT, and anyone else using POS hacks, gone. But I can't deny that this latest activity has been beneficial to everyone I know, as opposed to all the other RMT activities. Even though my Marduk's Jubbah is done now, for the benefit of the rest of my group, I hope SE looks at how people feel about an increased Khroma supply, and adds more opportunities to get it (however they do it). Hey, make it a low-percentage drop from regular Einherjar mobs. I don't care...do something.

Another, somewhat more cynical way of looking at it is: I hope they don't get rid of the RMT lowering the price of Khroma before they do anything (significant and lasting) about the RMT lowering the price of everything that lets people save up for Khroma.
