i just got my 100th shard 5 minutes ago, no reward same message, I'm disappointed after all that work but i didn't expect to get anything in the first place.

I'm reading this as "Someone on Hades from Windurst checked 1000". Does this confirm no reward beyond 20? Well, nation in 1st place reward aside.

Even though I'll probably get whooshed ...
I'm guessing he wants someone from Windurst on Hades check it out since he's on Hades, and most likely from Windurst.

If you actually figure how long it takes to go back and forth getting shards, there is no way a guy had 1000 at the time of that post. Even if you were getting to a 2 shard crystal in 5 minutes (unlikely without pos hax), that would only be like 28 shards an hour (including 1NM).

This makes me think that there is a higher reward... it doesn't really sound like "Oh, your nation won".

Has anyone tried much over 100? like 150, 200, etc? How about every area once?

I just started the event tonight, and as a Lvl 75 WHM/blm, took just about 1 hour to get 22 crystals. 2x Oztroja (1 NM), 1x Beadeux NM, 1x Davoi NM, remainder Giddeus. If you do searches of the zones, and see a whole bunch of people, they may be waiting for the NM to Pop (unless some LS is camping or such). If the zone suddenly empties out, often that means the NM was killed and everyone's heading back to turn in crystals.
