The niners are pitiful. Hard to watch, but I forced myself to since I'm from SF.

Was up 40 points in my league, and my opponent started seattle D, DJ Hackett, and the seattle kicker. Lost by 4. Because nolan forgot he had a kicker, I'm out of the playoffs for now. One damn offensive score, and Id of won /wrists

It's like they admitted defeat before the game even started... just freaking horrible.

You want to blitz when most of the passes are short and quick? Be my guest... Not only makes those short passes easier, but opens up the possibility of the long ball if the O-line can give Favre that extra second. I mean great they sacked the Giants 5 times, but the Giants passing game is hardly comparable to the Packers...

Personally I think Green Bay controls the clock in this game and comes away with a 27-21 win. But that could all change for the better or worse after the next 2 games.

The Cowboys held Adrian Peterson to 63 yards rushing, I don't think they will have a problem holding Green Bay to 100 or less.
The Packers do have a very good team this year, but I don't see them putting up enough points to win at Dallas.

They only put up 16 points on their win vs. Philadelphia
23 in their first meeting with the Vikings
20 in their loss to the Bears
17 in their win over the Redskins
and 19 in their win against Denver

I think the Packers will end up with the 2nd best record in the NFC this year, but I don't see them holding Dallas to under 30 points while posting 30+ points solely on their passing game.

    Re: NFL Week 10 Picks

So I was talking to a friend the other day and he brought up a really good point. Sunday Night's game (Colts @ Chargers) was a game that didn't show how vulnerable the Colts are; rather, it showed how much San Diego sucks this season. They had 6 INTs on Manning and still had to rely on luck to win the game. LT is performing poorly this season, Philip Rivers is making horrible decisions, and their defense has been tremendously inconsistent.

As far as Packers vs. Cowboys go, I wouldn't expect anything less than a close game. Even if the Cowboys do shut down Grant, the Packers have shown that it is possible for them to win a game with only relying on their passing game. Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, and Donald Lee are basically like Welker, Moss, and Stallworth to Brett Favre (however, not nearly good as the three just mentioned). Favre's passing seems to be steadily improving throughout the season. You have to remember that Romo is just as vulnerable as Favre is. The Green Bay defense is very good this season and they will definitely give the Cowboys offense a lot of trouble.

Favre is gonna throw 50 touchdowns and piss in Tony homos face while making out with his unbeleviably hot wife.

Yeah I think that's what a lot of people don't understand. Even if you shut down the running game, Favre still has about a dozen people he can throw the ball to. In Sunday's game I think something like 10 different people caught a pass. And Green Bay's offensive line is amazing right now, Favre's only been sacked 13 times all season (about 1 per game). Even if Dallas wants to play the blitzing game, Green Bay has a lot of quick out plays to the TEs and RBs that would make them really regret that. I can't wait to actually watch the game and see what unwinds, but I think GB victory

And the Bears beat the Packers. Bears must be going to the Superbowl!
And the Cowboys beat the Bears so the Cowboys are going to beat the Bears in the Superbowl.

The DAL vs GB game is going to rely on clock management, JuJo/Marion Barber vs Grant. Cowboys hasn't allowed a 100 yard rusher all year long, there's always a first time for everything. If Dallas's running game is good then Brett Farve won't be on the field too much, and vice versa.

I think the cowboys vs packers game could go either way. Both teams are probably going to score more than 20 points. Cowboys will give up 100 free yards in penalties. Favre will throw as many interceptions as he does touchdowns. I'm going to guess the cowboys will win just because it'll be at home.

they signed Simeon Rice in place of Freeney. Denver only had him play for one game or something like that then they released him. Obviously not the same as Freeney but a decent replacement nonetheless.

Ricky Williams reinstated by the NFL today. Let the guessing game of where he'll end up begin. The Dolphins have initial rights to him for now, but... what do they have to gain by keeping him at this point? A lower draft pick?

I think the real question is what do they lose? Ginn with the #9 pick, being 0-9 and trading a draft pick for Trent Green. But you are right in regards to the guessing game. Should be interesting to say the least.

Despite me hating the cowboys with a passion...

    nothing will come of it.

He did it to get media coverage for himself.
