Today I went out and spent $708 on a PC/Screen combo. I got a 2-something inch screen and what I consider a halfway decent PC. But I don't know, you tell me.

That's a pretty good comp
AMD x2 5600+ -good processor
~3GB ram - more than enough of ram
How 'bout the video card? And a 2x" screen alone could cost ~$150 So I'd say you got a good deal.
lolacer
but over all looks decent
ATI Radeon x1250

The downside is that apparently the video card is embedded in the motherboard, is there a way to overwrite that? If I just plug in a video card in one of the slots will it take over the old one? I dont know much about upgrading PCs seeing as I have bought two in my life and only spent money on RAM >_>;
Uninstall the Drivers and Disable it in BIOS.
EDIT>> Overall that is a great deal... What site did you use?
walked into Circuit City
I can't stand Circuit City D:
Guess I'll stick with NewEgg![]()
Looks like a pretty good deal to me. Only downside I can see if the OS, but we're gonna have to start making that switch eventually.
Don't know if it's different in the US, but Acer are regarded as a strong, decent quality brand here.
pretty good price imo but for any sort of gaming you'll want to step up that video card. The x1250 is likely only marginally better than the integrated stuff that comes with business pc's.
Just disable Aero and you should be fine for most games out these days (aka Not Crysis)
Yeah, the Experience score is based on your "weakest link" in this case your video card, you'd have some decent scores in the other categories from the looks of it if you get a graphics card update.
