    My thoughts:

    - Don't bother going if all you have is blue jeans.

    - Throw your black jeans away.

    - You can get a nice pair of black pants at the mall for only $120 at a place like Express

    - If you can't afford a suit, just get a pair of black pants, a nice shirt, and a tie. You don't need the coat.

    - At a job interview, a first impression (second you walk in) will almost always determine if you get the job. Overdress to impress; it doesn't matter what the actual dresscode is at the office. If I was taking interviews, and you walked in with black/blue jeans (especially black rofl) I would have already eliminated you from contention despite your answers to any questions.
maybe im dumb, but what's wrong with black jeans? i love my pair of black jeans, went in for an interview yesterday and it went well, had on black jeans, nice shoes, tucked in white oxford shirt and a nice blazer i have from the Gap, he said he'd pass on the writing samples i gave him to his editor and told me to call him next friday.
    They are ugly as shit.
If you want to wear black, get some slacks. As mentioned Express is a great place for moderately priced pants.
They are not in style unless you live in a time warp.
    They look retarded.
Show me a runway model who wears black jeans and I'll show you a Runway Model who will be losing their job that week.

You couldn't pay me to wear black jeans out in public. The only thing worse might be white jeans, or those jeans from the 80's - the ones that are blue and white spotted.

If there is a hot secretary, then they might hire you with your black jeans to eliminate any competition rofl. You could look at it that way, I suppose?

Edit- Heidi Klum's opinion doesn't count. Have you seen what her husband looks like? She thrives on fugly.

Black jeans are fugly 99% of the time. Come on guys, it's 2007 not 1994.

To go along with the black pants advice other people gave out, I'd like to add not to just grab any old pair from Wal-Mart unless you're broke. There's quite the difference in quality between Wal-Mart and some place a bit nicer, someone else mentioned Express and that's a great example. Oh, and for the love of god, make sure you buy clothes that fit. Casual jeans and t-shirt can be loose and baggy. You do not ever wear baggy slacks.
