Drain Spamming

I'm currently building up Dark Darkness the Defensive, Draining DRK Diremite and I've been having trouble getting it to cast Drain. My feral skills are Dark Magic Bonus, DRK Traits, Ice Spikes, and innate Acc Bonus. I'm spamming Guard! Block! Parry! to try to get it defensive which apparently is what makes DRKs spam drain but it hasn't cast it once. It is currently level 13 so it should already have drain.

Any tips?

Yeah you have to. Only natural casters get their spells (worms, ghosts etc).

I thought it was natural jos that got it and Diremite comes as DRK.

Ok so it's got Scrolls now but it just wont use Drain often enough.

It's somewhat defensive and extremely tame
It wont use Drain often with Think and think again! or Guard! Block! Parry!

Any idea what to do?

a friend of mine has a drk skelly, think it was somewhat wild and somewhat aggressive, Give a little more bite would make him drain. but i have never leveled a successful caster (my one attempt was moot) so i may not be a good athority to follow on this, probably arent.
