Oh and no console wars/fanboyish remarks prease... no one cares if the PS3 can have 10 more people onscreen at a given time, or if the 360 rock textures will look better.

I was actually thinking about getting a PS3 for this and Ratchet and Clank. Both look pretty good from what I've seen so far.
I'm just hoping Assassin's Creed isn't too short. That seems like one of the few things that could be bad in this game.
I'm pumped. . .
the strategy guide is 300 pages long if thats any indication of how long the game is. it's also fairly open ended as to giving you options on how to do just about everything. that being said, i'm very anxious to pick up my copy on wednesday :D
I've only played a few hours. The story is kinda wtf. Or i should say the story behind the story. I'm curious to see where it's going. Graphically the game lives up to the hype so far.
This game looks like it has huge potential to be awesome, and could also fail very hard if the gameplay isn't done right.
I know almost nothing about it aside from the advertisements on TV, which is probably just cinematics of the game and not actual gameplay. Is it supposed to be a single player game or is it an online type thing?
single player only.
Wait...how are you playing it already? >_>Originally Posted by SupHammer
How can we have a topic about this game without a picture of the producer lol.

I'm not sure what ads you're referring too, but i can almost guarantee it was gameplay. Even during the "cutscenes" you still have control (ok just move) of your charater. During the gameplay if you lock on to a target, the depth of field changes and gives the impression of a cutscene. It's very nicely done. Like i said, a few hours into the game and the graphics and gameplay are very impressive.Originally Posted by Skyylya
Only complaint so far is the fighting controls, but I'm prolly not used to them, plus you lose all your special techniques early in the game.
With a producer like that, you just fucking know the game is going to be amazing
At first I was upset that the PC version comes out a couple months later, but then I realized that AC wasn't going to have to compete with Mario Galaxy for my free time this week. Win/win to me 8)
Frys has this game on sell Thursday for 39.99 for those picking it up.
youtube has a crapload of gameplay videos already.. just look them up.
And yeah Fry's is apparently selling it for 20 bucks cheaper, but only if you can wait until Thursday...![]()

;p i'm getting it today if tru is actually putting it on the shelves early.
we dont even get it in stock till wednesday, isnt a streetdated title so we wont have it early =/
Can someone explain the background of the story of The high-tech looking part of the game that's so secret to the press reviews, is it like quantum leap?
Got any screenshots? first i've heard of this.. I thought it was only 1191's Damascus, Acre, and Jerusalem.
The protagonist was part of an assassination training program when he was young, but he never became an actual assassin. He was captured by a "pharmaceutical" company for his memories. The theory is that all humans have the memories of their ancestors encoded into their genes. There is a machine makes these memories come to life. The group that captures the assassin is looking for a specific memory, but since it is new technology, that specific memory is "locked" until, i assume, you complete the game. That's about as far as I got. You don't do much in the "present" time, all you do is talk to some chick and walk back and forth from your bed to the table.Originally Posted by Fooma
Like i said earlier, it's kinda like wtf. I just hope it goes somewhere good.
