    Re: Assassin's Creed

That's actually pretty interesting if you play through one of your ancestor's memories...

Sounds awesome, I want this game so bad. >.<

How did you get it early anyways?

It might be interesting, i'll withhold judgment until i progress further in the story. It can be annoying at times, for the first few hours of the game you jump around memories alot. I hope that doesn't continue for the whole game.

It was leaked on newsgroups late last week.

Ahh, figured it must've been a leak. Only console (that isn't handheld >.>) that I have modded is a PS2 heh.

    Re: Assassin's Creed

TRU got it in today, had to wait an hour for them to unpack the shipment. Good thing I built a lot of rapport with the people there Monday morning.

Game looks pretty awesome so far graphically and the story pulls you in right away.

Think this game has much replay value? Can either rent it through friend that works @ blockbuster or buy at fry's for $40.

    Re: Assassin's Creed

If you get the 360 version and you're into working on achievements then you will get a lot more replay value imo, it's the only reason i'm picking it over the ps3 version since they're practically identical in graphics and gameplay.

    Re: Assassin's Creed

    I would assume story related....

some spoilers, I think: the game actaully starts in the future and they tap into some guy's memories to see the past, because apparently the new technology lets you see memories of your ancestors... that's also probably the hi-tech city that people were talking about... at which point you start the game... or something like that lol.

    Re: Assassin's Creed

Actually, I'd expect the PS3 ver. to be superior than its ecksbuxthreesixtee counterpart, assuming ubi did their work and shit.

    Re: Assassin's Creed

They will be identical, get over it. They didn't make 2 different games, they made one game and put it on both consoles... the ps3 version has no reason to look superior since it was designed for both in the first place (and on their own engine at that..)

Honestly, who gives two shits about the quality of the games on 360 or PS3? Same shit, different asshole.

To each his own I suppose.

    Re: Assassin's Creed

Only reason Id have a reason to get it on PS3 over my 360 is HDMI cables, since Microsoft fucked me over by not making the original 360's have HDMI cable ports.

Honestly though I have a 360 and dont have a PS3, and Im still entirely in favor of the PS3 being superior, but w/e...blah blah fanboy.

    Re: Assassin's Creed

Shouldn't be a diff between the two, not worth buying a PS3 for it if you have a 360 already. Component cables will give 95% of the quality the game has to offer anyway. Unless you have 7.1 digital audio surround and about a 65" 1080p Plasma tv, then HDMI would be totally neccessary.

The game is about 12-15 hours long apparently depending on your skill level.
