I've known him for a while, but can't say I ever rolled on the HNM scene with him. He was always a cool guy, and a good NIN as far as I remember. And as far as I know, he had/has a good reputation on Quetz.

anyway one of the best WHM's I knew when I played, can't really speak for his NIN but since he led JDA with it I can only assume he's equally skilled there

Wow I'm sorry... but well. BOF was an okay guy I guess. He did lie a bit. Like when he showed a screenshot of himself doing a 1400 Blade Jin on Tiamat. Yeah. He never came NIN when he was in Perseverance, always WHM. I think one of the main reasons he left was because he was never allowed to tank things, which is pretty baby-ish to me because he always threw a fit. Best of luck to you, I say. But with all these good reviews, maybe I'm just talking about a different Blazeoffury... but the BOF I knew was average, more or less. Was a bit more annoying, always bragging and then asking some really basic questions. But maybe he's become a better person and making a new name for himself, or maybe he's the same guy I've always known him. That's all I'll say. Good luck.

As far as his NIN skill goes, I only know that my boyfriend's NIN beat him one-on-one many times. ;p
But he was a nice guy sometimes. Just be careful, is all I will say.

First off hi gig and blaze, yes it's really me. Been along time.
Quetzalcoatl is a rather weak server in general. Alot of fighting about who is the Leetist and all that. No more then any other server I guess though.

There are quite a few talanted players on that server I have to admit.

Compared to all of the top players who have played there over the years, I would say that BOF is actually in the high mid to high skill range of players. Yes sometimes he may ask a question which others would consider noobish or something which he should already know. However, with a game as in depth as this one who really has all the answers to all the questions?? I would rather have someone in a LS who ask's questions first, instead of making a costly mistake in battle.

He was always eager to learn something new to improve his skills, which I think is a good thing. If I ever asked him a question he would always give me a straight forward answer, even if it wasn't the answer I wanted to hear. I haven't played in quite some time, like a year or more now, but I would consider him an honest and trustworthy player.

I spent quite a considerable amount of time the last year I played helping players aquire gear and items to help improve their game, BOF was always one of the people who would help me acomplish this whenever he had free time. He never bitched or complained or asked for anything in return. Examples of items would be things such as carbuncle mitts, yinyang robe, and missions like COP, and access to sea or sky depending on the player who was in need.

If you are considering him in a LS such as BG I believe he will be an asset, all new members will take time to develop with regards to the system used by BG of battles. He should be able to catch on quick enough to the ways of BG, and will always be looking for ways to improve and become a more valuable member of the team.
