    yeah cos thats a bigger blunder than calling all the starting cells in /l, when 50% of the group arnt in your hnmls , and then proceeding to pass one of the cells you were meant to lot, and frantically asking us to lot for you (again in /l )

    Recent ones for me:
    Going on a pickupish group with people who were pretty new to me, calling started cells and passing .... without making sure the right people lotted. Buhbye Dup cell, buhbye spiss cell, buhbye hum cell, hewwwwo 2f qqa steal failing . Im too damn used to trusting the people i go with xD

    Same run, to busy talking in tells to pay attention, and let psyche flayer get a blizga off *whistle*

    Im sure theres something else stupid ive done recently (other than my all too common deaths), but i really cant remember.

    welp, where to start. First salvage run I lead, the leader couldn't be on so I stepped up.

    Decided to do zhay frogs, because it would be one of the top 2 zones I know best, and we needed shit from there, yet. To start off I forgot to ask someone to bring a card to pop Jakko, which led to us having to do the 3f frog, which took for fucking ever. I also took about 10 mins too long on the first floor because I failed to realize that we allready had what we -needed- and farmed too much. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    I dread the day I may have to do that.

    I created all the strats for my LS - created being, I took the time to research all the info. I relay and coordinate as much as I can to my LS leader during the runs. He keeps track of what area we are doing next, and what cells people have, and who gets what drops. I run the strats and advise him of stuff we should be doing.

    It's an awesome relationship because I don't have to deal with the drama and it doesn't overwhelm him too much. I don't get any kudo's or thank's for comming up with a successful run/strat, but I think I got the better end of the deal anyways. And when we try something new and fail, I don't get all the flaming from it (well except the time i dropped the cell i needed to pop madame lol).

    I really enjoy doing things thru him because he takes my advice seriously, without hesitation and puts all my plans into action. This is something I could never do myself, and I would never want to (even if I think I could) fill his shoes.

    Led 200+ runs and counting...but I count myself lucky to have a good team with people who can take over when I am not there.
    After a while you just get used to it, so much so that once you do, you just don't feel right if you don't call cells
    After a while, people take your lead for granted too lol...

    I don't know...Personally I was immensely relieved when I didn't have to call the initial box anymore. I'll occasionally call one out of habit, only to find that it's already been lotted by that person. The only people I need to call cells for now are either new members or the few members I have who come just once or twice a week.

    I've actually found that a lot of time gets wasted just typing out the cell calls, so the less I have to type, the better it gets for everyone.

    Hit call for help by accident when Powderkerg is at 1% hp >.<; Only learned Alt + A is a much better way to disengage after the stupid mistake. SE should remove CFH froms salvage zones :/

    Unfortunately, even after 200+ runs, some people still has no clue who gets what and when, even if they respond to your cell calling very fast.

    That wasn't my blunder. That was your blunder for A. Not being in my LS despite 6 months of harassing you to apply and B. Not letting us switch to the Salvage LS for the run >_>;

    I wouldn't mind as much but I used to call cells in party chat instead of LS chat until people complained about normal party chat making them miss cell calls -.-;

    And yeah, I wish that after doing Salvage for so long that people would learn who gets what at least to some extent but it's just not going to happen. People unfortunately get used to lotting what you tell them to and so don't normally pay attention as to who gets what cells before them. Two of the groups I go with aren't exactly static either which doesn't help.

    Re: Oops!... Salvage Blunders

    In theory, in a small man salvage group, any member should be able to lead the run if the usual leader is Mia. In practise every group is gonna have "one of those members", you know the ones, like the rdms who lot first magic when told for 100+ runs, but the one run that no1 calls it, they pass >.>

    Re: Oops!... Salvage Blunders

    The cell caller should always pass last or designate someone too for the people who:
    1. Lot the wrong one
    2. Doesn't lot
    3. Pass by accident
    4. (1) & (3) because the loot list was moving.

    Re: Oops!... Salvage Blunders

    I always pass last for this reason; I usually end up lotting at least 3-4 critical cells per run for various people (or sometimes all for the same person).

    Silver Sea Remmanants 2F, SE Room, about 20 min inside.

    Our THF pulls a Fomor and 2 Imps link, but that's not the problem, our WHM instead of casting w/e she was going to cast, she pressed her Teleport-Dem MACRO, and she was so thinking dunno what that she didn't see it until she, and our Taru RDM were in Konschatat and we were wiping.

    She apologized, well more like saying "I'm Sorry" with the auto-translate, and then logged off promptly.

    at least we were left with 1 RDM and BRD so we did 2F and 3F NMs, but no Boss, and no 35 drops either.

    Re: Oops!... Salvage Blunders

    Nice simple bhuf run, hit up the 2 ramparts we wanted (no nms), took lbc down in under 5m (gimped), with 10m on the clock, unfortunatly, our thf managed to cfh on it about 6%, with not enough time to wipe > un weak > take from 100-0 again (2hrs and pots burnt) was probably the biggest wtf moment ive had in salvage xD

    Had 10 minutes left, 3 revit, 3 hp drink, 3 mana boost. Engage nerfed LBC with 3 melee, get it down to 20% in 3min...and wipe.
