Oops!... Salvage Blunders

Nice simple bhuf run, hit up the 2 ramparts we wanted (no nms), took lbc down in under 5m (gimped), with 10m on the clock, unfortunatly, our thf managed to cfh on it about 6%, with not enough time to wipe > un weak > take from 100-0 again (2hrs and pots burnt) was probably the biggest wtf moment ive had in salvage xD

For once we can legitimately blame Flames.

Zhy run for 5th and 6th floor frog, didn't rush the first floor as we didn't intend on boss. Had 4 ranged drops so decided to duplicate. Frog died whilst charmed = no ranged, tried to "salvage" the run with some 15's no one wanted and boss. Due mainly to the lack of ranged on bards we ended up timing out on the boss at 5% :/

LBC run, new(ish now) LS so we've not been amazingly successful with chariots, we fail to nerf, no biggie, pick up and move on. We engage LBC, fight is super smooth, LS brings its A game. 15% HM hits, no biggie, Whm doesn't panic and bene's through it. HM again, we're all out zerging, so we power through. 4% we start wiping slowly, keep doing damage. 1% we're all dead, its DOTd and going unclaimed. I don't have reraise. It wore. Yeah, it dies unclaimed, so our first chariot kill is a kill with no drops.

Lesson learned.

Other day a member of our ls called for help on 5th floor frog in zhaylom.

I did something dumb last night in Arrapago. We normally take the N path but one of my lsmates is CONVINCED the S path has a higher drop rate. So we were separated into 2 groups and I decided to appease him even though he was in a PM run and go S. Well it didn't click to me that psycheflayers are true sight lol. For some reason I thought they weren't in salvage. Sure enough some of us agro'd in the 2x room, and the rest agro'd near the tele lol.

Other week in Z second floor lizard+frog only gave us four ranged, and we had two bards. I gave two to the bards and the other to two melee, figuring I'd just have to cap out the bard and two melees.

Then we realized that neither bard had a weapon.

We had to skip boss and sleepga pull frogs on third floor, we lucked out and got a ranged around the seventh drop, but man, that would have sucked.

Last Bhaflau we wanted to do a boss run. Mad Bomber wasn't up, so we decided to do Flans but we messed up on our SC and did it before one of them could put spikes up, so no 2F rampart for us. Then we missed 2 gears on the 4F and ended up getting owned by the boss lol.

Wasn't a very good run, but the next day we did boss and got another completed Morrigan Body for the group

Last week... Arrapago with 6 people, the 3 main people lotting chest cells at the start RDM, SAM, MNK were all on the same connection. The 3 left over passed as the main 3 just started to lot, regardless to say, we lost almost every cell as the main 3 d/c'd at the same time.

Managed to kill all the QQs, but we had to sacrifice the chariot and ghost, not to mention the first floor was hell. Personally I thank God they added that chest at the start. . . The old way doesn't exactly make me feel nostalgic for anything.
