I don't understand why people are having problems with the rock boss. I killed him without the comet without getting hit once, so when the comet flew by it was just as easy. The hands are never a problem, just constantly stay on the move.

Now the luigi purple coin stage in the toy galaxy....oh dear God, the horror, the horror.

The hands do actually come back after a short time, sadly.

Alright, how about some hints about blowing up trash ;o Do you try to chain bomb the trash or just try to hit 3 trash things with a bomb?

There should be little yellow coin dots on the ground in the middle of sets of 3. Try and throw your bombs on those and it's pretty easy.

I aimed to get the ones farther back first, it seemed to blow up 3-5 at a time doing it that way. I was able to do it with like 7 seconds to spare or something.

Friend of mine found out that you can click the green tiles with wiimote2 and they won't disappear as quickly >.>

Made that stage a lot easier

lastnight I got the 3rd green star, and started messing around in the green star galaxies. after like 1040255 tries of the one where you roll the ball the most impressive thing was I didn't smash my remote into the table. furthest I made it to (and consistently about everytime) is the platform with the bombs running into you and the holes. dunno how close that is to the end, but I prey it is, going to try again tonight.

Haha, omg, the trash level. It really brought back the older game feel to it.. Something being ridiculously difficult but 'easy' in theory thus making you do it over and over til you beat it. For some reason it took me like 20 minutes, then I restarted level and got it first try. Was fun, but annoying.

BTW, anyone else spend countless minutes just orbitting around smaller planets? Love to find the smaller ones and just z-jump around.. and around.. and around... especially if another planet is nearby, and you begin to orbit both :D They should make a game based on that alone...

I can't remember what planet it was (probably works on a lot of somewhat medium sized ones), but I found one spot where I could do a Z-jump and fly almost all the way around to the other side, it was very fun. >.>

Stuck at a few parts of the game. I beat a few galaxies and then randomly a new thing would pop up saying "New Galaxy found!" but.. I can't find them. One randomly showed up where the 3 trials are on the map and the other is near the start where you open you game but.. how do you get to those? I don't get it. :/

Also I got the coins and unlocked flying around at the intro area but how do you do the purple coin stages?

Are you talking about the galaxies on the main planet/spaceship? You have to feed the fat starguys a certain amount of starbits to open a path.

Stuck at a few parts of the game. I beat a few galaxies and then randomly a new thing would pop up saying "New Galaxy found!" but.. I can't find them. One randomly showed up where the 3 trials are on the map and the other is near the start where you open you game but.. how do you get to those? I don't get it. :

Um you could mean a few things but generally the "New Galaxy Found!" message means if you pull into galaxy view in each chamber then point and click on one of the planets/galaxies that should be a highlighted box or a big bowser head. Each galaxy has its own star number meaning you gotta get said amount of stars to open the new galaxy.
Oh and the purple stars appear randomly further into the game, you'll learn about Prankster Comets (general term for all types) pretty much as soon as you complete the first observatory.

No I mean next to where I fed the guys on the map it says "New!" and I have no clue how to get there. I'm pretty much almost done with the garden so I know the basic stuff like comets. <.<

Like, if you go to map, theres a New! that came up just under Sweet Serup Galaxy that I dunno how to get to, and on the "indoor" map theres one all the way in the middle and the south.

Oh lol my bad, jus speak to the ones you fed and they should say "want to travel to the bleh-bleh galaxy?" Y/N, usualy one outside each dome.

I did. <.< I talked to everyone and I don't know how to get to the new galaxies. It just randomly appeared and I didn't feed anything to open it. I talk to everyone and nothing happens.

There are only 3 types of Galaxies that can appear:

Galaxies inside hub rooms, these appear when you gain enough stars
Galaxies from feeding the little fat guys. These appear in the main hub, you talk to the fat guys to go
Galaxies that appear from special conditions. (3 green star galaxy, Rosalina's home planet, the secret bonus after you beat Luigi mode)


If the game ANNOUNCED that a new galaxy appeared, it falls under the first type. There are no exceptions to that

The stage was a pain the first time through. Then I went through as Luigi and got it on the first try.

242 stars, finished. Although getting the last star as Mario after so long made me want to play the whole thing through as him again. Must resist that temptation.
