The water one took me like 20+ tries. Luckily, you get a billion extra lives on that level.

Almost up to 240 stars. Can't wait til I can go back to the other games I was working on before this came out. >.<

Is that the green luma galaxies? I had a little trouble with the water one, but the roller ball one took about 50 tries. I wanted to throw my wiimote across the room.

Yeah, the green luma galaxy. I'm not sure what it was, I just couldn't get used to tilting the wiimore to steer, yet I beat the roller ball one pretty easily... That water one was easily the hardest stage for me out of all of them. x.x

Manta Ray surfing leaves me screaming with rage.

Not sure if you tried this, but slowing down on the turns is what saved me (let go of the A button). I got it pretty soon after that, it was still hard but doable then. It might sound obvious but I almost never need to slow down on racing games ect ect.

I didnt have much a prob with that, but I didn't go 100% speed the whole time. I think I finished with a 1:15ish time. The hardest parts was the really narrow section before the loop and after the last jump, like twice I ended up hopping off the track after I landed.

Edit: If you find yourself going too fast to cut the turn, you can shake the wiimote to perform a jump, and if you jump while turning, you almost cut a 90 degree turn on a dime.

The green trial galaxy with the rolling ball thing made me want to kill my first born. I got up to the part with the moving gears like 10 times and died at the moving wall almost each time. Then I finally got past it, shat myself, then proceeded to fall off thanks to a bob-omb. I beat it but not before my face turned beat red ._.

Manta ray one was annoying but rather mild in comparison i felt, and the floating bubble wasn't too bad since you didn't have to start ALL over every time you fucked up with those damn missiles. Oh and I absolutely hated Molty Lava level thing place with the Daredevil star. Seriosuly, took 10 lives and a half hour, I wanted to kill someone.

by the way, suprised nobody has mentioned this yet (I think). the music and all the sound effects are so spot fucking on. the music is always so epic and huge, you almost forget you're playing a mario game lol. I'm up to 38 stars now, been doing the comit challenges lately, those have been frustatingly fun. binged for enough tonight i think.

Yeah, he jumps higher as well I think. The slide after he lands gets quite annoying on a lot of levels though.

I don't know if this counts as spoilers, but making it small just in case. There is a hidden level after you get all 120 with Luigi. It appears in both Mario and Luigi's game. So, 121 in both games.

Great game.
Bought it yesterday and got 44 stars already. I play with my little bro as 2nd player which makes enemys a lot easier, but sometimes he just tries to kill me and lets me jump in the worst posible situations x_x
Hope to finish at least marios 120 stars before thursday (wotg), so many things to do, so little time <3

is the comet coming up on the map, or on the list of stars for that galaxy? go to the map, the icons for a galaxy is always either a star, crown (for clearing a galaxy) or a comet. a comet means comet is in orbit for that galaxy and you can access the comet challenge. if you're refering to the star lists for individual galaxies, the darkened out comet star gets added to the list once you clear the 3 basic stars (I think) but you can only try the comet challenge if it is in orbit for that galaxy.
