    More PSP help >_>

So i just recently downgraded to 3.03 OE-A but most games i download and try to play give me an error, saying i can't play it.
    Should i use OE-C ?
whichever one is more compatible with ISO/CSO whatever that is?

my 3.10 oe a works fine. Make sure in the safe mode thing it is set to boot off iso's when there is no disk in the drive. And (in the safe mode) make sure it is using 1.50 firmware.

edit: you can get into the safe mode by holding the right trigger while booting, if that doesn't work its putting it in hold right away when booting.

Safe mode? please explain, like i have to have a UMD in the PSP to play ISO's.

Edit: The error it gives me is
"The game could not be started. (80020148)" ?

Yeah i have a UMD in my tray when i'm booting up my ISO's. thats the only way they will boot up, if no UMD in the tray = No ISO's boot up.

But i'm running 3.03 OE-A and its only letting me boot up certain games, i can play Naruto the japanese fighting game, and i can play Dragonball Z Shin Budokai another road, but when i downloaded FF:Tatics The war of the lions, it won't let me play and would just give me the error i showed above.

The OE firmwares have a special program stored in your PSP's flash memory which allows you to change vital system mechanics, overclocking, booting off of USB, changing values, ect. You can get into this mode by holding down the right trigger when turning on your PSP. The screen may be pitch black, turn up the brightness if it does that. In there you can change whether or not you need a UMD to run iso's, and what kernel your firmware is using, make sure 1.50 is selected.

Or maybe you just have a bad .iso or .cso ?

I'm running 3.10OE and currently the only two games that haven't worked are Jean d'arc and Portable Ops, everything else seems to work fine. I don't really know what to recommend granted you have the files in the iso folder and a umd in your slot drive.

In the psp folder there should be a folder called iso, pretty self explanatory. I don't think you'd even be able to see the iso's if they were anywhere else but in that folder.

Try upgrading to 3.10 OE, had no problems with that firmware thus far with playing backed up games.

    It's very simple.

New games have firmware version requirements, and the more recent ones (like FFT) require 3.40 and higher.

Highly suggest you upgrade to 3.52 m33, there's no reason to be using an old firmware.

Yeah... get 3.4oe. Make sure iSos are in the ISo folder and have a UMD in the slot. If none of the above work, stick to buying games or sign up to a PSP forum lol

Update to 3.40 OE first then, or just stay on 3.4 if you don't care.

    Also, you can go into the recovery menu and turn on no-umd mode and save your laser or w/e <.<;

psp-hacks and some other websites should have it

make a Despertarde cemetario 3, and upgrade to 3.71 m33-3 ;3 No reason not to,especially with popsloader fixed for it, and I think there is a 1.5 addon for it too (I think...I have a Slim, so I can't help you with that department)
