That thing is an NPC in some windy missions cutscenes (prolly rank8 or 9 onward). Can't remember what he does/who he is.
You don't fight him though :/
i always forget this thing even exists, and i'll probably kill Odin before this guy.Originally Posted by Tomino

Uragnites would also probably be No.1 on the list of "mobs you've never fought"
Let's see...
Top 5 mob families that make you sick
(I was originally gonna do 10, but I could only think of 5 that seem bad enough to really annoy everyone in some way or another.)
5. Brittle Rock
I don't know what the mob family would be called, so I just called it this. It's in one assault, and everyone has done this assault.
This mob makes you sick because it symbolizes one of two things depending who you are:
1) It reminds you of all the low rank ToAU players who spam it because they're too lazy to actually put effort into assaults and rank up.
2) You are one of those lazy players, and you're just way too god damn tired of the walls.
4. Wyrm
Similar to the Brittle Rock - If you camp one of these, you probably hate them, and if you don't camp one of these, you probably still hate them.
3. Imp
This is where we start seeing a pattern of ToAU mobs that don't want you to perform well, but have about as much HP as the first mob you fought in the game. Square-Enix really likes to fuck with our minds. Amnesia and Silence for their only TP moves (provided the horn isn't broken anyway); at least Amnesia doesn't overwrite itself.
2. Puk
When you're fighting it, everything it does seems like the most annoying move in the game, ever. Mostly because it only seems to do 3 things: Flash, huge knock back, or put up shadows. All of which disrupt your ability to show off your huge e-peen.
1. Colibri
An obvious winner - if you see another one of these you'll go nuts. Except you know you'll see another one (or 300) today when you go leveling on any job above lv55.
Not to mention you can't cast on them, you can't save TP on them, you can't use food on them, and you can't keep shadows up against them. They skew the parser to increase the weak player's results.
Little attempt at upstaging the OP, how did I do? <_<
Holy hell that thing is creepy. Had no idea it was even in the game.Originally Posted by Biiru

I guess as BST I've seen most all of these things; heck, I die so much all over the place that I even accidentally spawned that Lamia that only spawns when you die near her![]()
What's awesome is that I just edited that to say "Before CoP", then realized that was obviously wrong too >.>Originally Posted by Khamsin
I always like to randomly check to see if Tasai is up. Like someone else said, I want the hat just because it probally is one of the most rare items in this game.
Ok, here is where I call you on itOriginally Posted by Wizerd
I dont want to see you ever exping off colibri anymore, ever, if anyone catches you exping on them, they just need to take a screenshot and send it to me, I will then IP ban you from the server. You are free of course to exp off imps and puks of course, but no touching colibri, so from 55 to 60ish you need to be in old world camps fighting those mobs for the awesome 5-6k an hour, see you in the tree and crabs.
No 10k an hour easy partys for you where all you have to deal with is a little extra gil spent on food and losing TP every now and then.
