Hi the person in question has recently server transferred to Hades and is now starting up a linkshell which will do everything Sea/Sky/Dynamis/HNM etc

I find it suspicious that he transfers and makes a linkshell within a few days, any information about him would be great, kinda be nice for people wanting to join to find out about the leader.

Unless he changed his character name during the transfer, I can tell you there is no one that I know of by that name that was closely involved with HNMs. I'm not familiar with sky only LSs though so he may be that.

Tarutaru, Dalmatica? I'm fairly certain he applied to the LS i'm in, and got booted for hiding stuff in less than a week? He was a server transfer to start with, I thought. One of the LS leader would know more, but asleep, they'll prolly post tomorrow.

There is a Vagnagun on ffxi-app purchasers list, ffxiah suggests valefor one server-switched about a month ago.

The one that is being BC'd is believed to be currently owned by Risingdeath or one of the other 4 "famous" garudans that server switched to odin when server switches were first released. For those that don't know the story here, they were kicked from our LS during their trial for openly admiting to botting, gil buying, and overall just a crappy attitude. For those that remember "the list" of ffxi-app people, the garudans and several of their bot accounts showed up on that list.

Anyway fast forward to vegnagunn, originally we were told he was from remora. He was quite, seemed alright etc, so he received a trial. Sometime during the first week of his trial risingdeath sent cdgreg (our recruiter) a /tell just saying hi. (remember RD was removed from the LS) With RD's history with OD, Cd just announced it in shell something like "RD is talking to me, what the hell does he want?". Within seconds of saying that on /ls RD responds to it saying "whoa I thought we were friends". A first CD didn't realize what had happened. CD talked on shell agian making a comment about RD and instantly RD would respond to it in /tell. Thats when CD realized that someone in the shell was either talking to RD on vent or actually was RD. (there is no way someone could have been typing cause the responses were too fast) That group was known for buying accounts. They have something like 6 accounts other than their mains that I know about, so it wouldn't be far fetched to believe that RD owns Vegnagunn.

So CD booted all 3 of the trial members from the LS. The responses stopped. 2 of the people /tell cd to ask what happened and why they were removed. Veg never did. With a little research we found out that Veg was originally from Garuda and thats when the puzzle just fit together. For anyone wondering this was not the first time these garudans tried to slip one of their accounts into our LS. We've caught them on other occassions but this one just slipped through.

While we're at it, i might as well add that they also server switched an account or two back to Garuda and attempted to get into their old LS's (without saying who they were of course).

My suggestion is you just stay away from this group of people. Lots of games being played, hacking, gil buying etc. and overall just a shitty attitude.

If they havent stolen anything of value without permission then i dont see the big deal, i mean, who the hell on Hades that runs an hnm doesnt buy gil and bot? Thats what i though. Give the guy a chance.

At the time the only ffxiah.com history for a player by this name was by one from Garuda NOT Remora and from this post awhile back in March he was asking for a World Pass for a "friend" from Garuda.

For the most part we've had horrible luck with transfers as members and since this experience I've expanded the background search about server crossing applicants to BG BC, commonly used forums, ffxiah.com, require a SS with others from the previous server, and now firmly believe that "No news is bad news" instead of "No news is good news" since theoretically someone should have heard of a Player.

Sad part is he seemed like a cool guy, but so did the Garudians at first. If genuinly there is a 2nd Vegnagunn from Remora then he may be a great asset to your LS, but where theres so much smoke theres fire.

If we made a mistake with the ffxiah.com history I do apoligize as I mentioned in my previous reply. However as you can tell by this link ffxiah.com history seems to stay up for a LONG TIME, and unless my search is incorrect I still cannot find a history for you on Remora.

Maybe when you de-activate an account ffxiah.com purges you? I'm not sure I'm not familiar with the intricate workings of the website. Either way, I am still baffled, how is there no one from Remora who remembers seeing you ever and you have no ffxiah.com history? Did you change names when you hopped? Since this we've seen Kira in sky with a LS, if you were truly here to hang out with him why not join that shell or make a new shell on Odin and invite him as a member? Im guessing I can speak for OD in general and Elipse when saying we do not try to to ruin reputations. We're simply posting our opinion in a forum based on your interactions with us on Odin and the questions that still linger. FFXI is not a game when people are willing to dedicate so much time to it, it then becomes a lifestyle, but this is not a philosophy thread. Being argumentative in this forum makes all parties involve seem non-professional and leaves a negative taste in any viewers mouth. So, I have posted my opinion and wish you the best on Hades and hope you met some others along the way who can post here to offer up a different side and opinion. Prolly the douche from valefor, He ran a shitty shell where he pretty much got first dibs at anything he wanted. He borrowed a bunch of expensive stuff and just decided he wanted to keep it. I think by the time he left he wasn't able to get any parties cause everyone hated him so much.

Search KI for Vagnagun under the valefor forums, based on his last post he sounds like the same douche
