Haha, we Bills fans have a running joke in Buffalo about Teddy Bruschi, sort of the same way people say shit about Chuck Norris. It stems from the media's slobbing on his knob all of the time. Here's an example of a Buffalo fan talking about Teddy: "tedy bruschi will be unstoppable sunday, he will not only save the patriots and rack up league high numbers, he will also bring bass pro to Buffalo, put up a new bridge to Canada, and sing the national anthem before the game while doing a fly over in an f-16. During half time he will lock the Bills into Buffalo for the next 60 years, but he will also please the people of toronto by providing them with free beer for the next 60 years of leafs hockey. Tedy Bruschi will resolve all of the worlds problems on Sunday night"

Im saying that a shitty, snowy/rainy/windy day favors pitt, who have a better running game and a better defense than the pats. Not saying that they'll win, but so many people talk about how the pats have such an advantage in shitty weather in gillette stadium, but I honestly think they steelers have a hell of a lot better chance of winning in those shitty conditions than they do on a bright sunny day where Brady will light up the secondary like there's no tomorrow.

Brady is good to enough to light it up either way. Watch some of the playoffs games he has played with shit WR cores in snow games. He wasn't even considered a veteran in half of those games.

Also, Laurence Maroney is a beast. Its genious what they are doing. If they ever need to use the running game, they have a FRESH, HEALTHY, UNUSED Maroney waiting to bust through the HUGE holes NE's #1 Offensive line creates. He hasn't taken a beating in every game this season like Willie Parker. Btw- when players take the beatings like Parker has this year and tell the media, "Its the best I've felt all year" or "I am 100%" its complete bullshit. They say that so they can lock themselves into a 2nd or 3rd contract.

You need to do more homework. I got the feeling you have only been a NFL fan for about 2-3 years. Sorry if not, but you come off that way with your comments and lack of study.

    Re: NFL Week 11 Picks

Brady is much much better on the road in the playoffs than he is at home. I can't recall any absolutely lights out outstanding home games for brady.

    Edit:

Thx you tuck rule and 1 TD against oakland in foxboro in 2001.
200 yards and 1TD against TN in 03
237 yards with 1TD and 1INT against IND in 2003
144 yards and 1TD against IND in 04
201 yards and 3TDs against JAX in 2005
212 yards and 2TD in 06 against the jets.

All of those games but 1 (03, indi, like 5 yards above average) he threw under his season average. I dont think I'm saying anything groundbreaking when I say that bad weather favors defense and running games. And pitt is #1 in both of those cats (or soon to be #1 in rushing). I can recall watching Emmit smith's 150 something yard 3TD performance in the postseason if the says how long ive been watching football. Whenever that was.

ITS THE PLAYOFFS AND THE COMPETITION IS HARDER. GDI YOU'RE IGNORANT.

I'll take 200+ Yards, 1-2 TD for my QB in ANY playoff game ANYday.

You just he'd light up the pitt secondary in a shitty weather game, then told me to look at his playoff record as some sort of justification, which shows absolutely no signs of lighting up any secondary at home? Im lost at why you told me to look at his playoff record at home then...His home games are average for an average QB in the playoffs. You accuse me of lacking study when you obviously didn't realize that brady is an average QB when playing in cold weather games.

Dude all the fuck you did was prove my point. THOSE NUMBERS ARE LIGHTING IT UP IN THE PLAYOFFS YOU FUCKING IDIOT, and the Cowboys will NEVER beat the Pats in the 07-08 Season.

    Edit-

Thx you tuck rule and 1 TD against oakland in foxboro in 2001. (DO YOU REMEMBER HOW GOOD OAKLAND WAS THIS YEAR? MUST NOT)
200 yards and 1TD against TN in 03 (TN WAS ON AN 11 GAME WINNING STREAK WITH A STOUT DEFENSE)
    237 yards with 1TD and 1INT against IND in 2003 (YOU'RE IGNORANT)
144 yards and 1TD against IND in 04 ( YOU'RE CONSISTENT; CONSITENTLY WRONG)
201 yards and 3TDs against JAX in 2005 (THAT'S NOT LIGHTING IT UP)
212 yards and 2TD in 06 against the jets. (SEE ABOVE)

OH, NOT TO MENTION ALL OF THE NE TEAMS IN THE ABOVE GAMES WERE 3 FOLD WORSE THAN THE CURRENT TEAM ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL. GOD YOU'RE IGNORANT.

EDIT 2 - EVERY QB's #'s FALL IN COLD WEATHER YOU DAMN BUM. YOU ACT AS IF BEN IS UNAFFECTED, and BEN WAS THE INT KING LAST YEAR.

Big bold letters prove points. Actually, you just proved my initial point. In the playoffs (and in cold weather) defenses thrive. Hence, brady's numbers falling then. Go and check out the rushing stats for some of those games as well. Ill reiterate my initial point...cold weather will benefit pittsburg more than it will hurt them. They aren't a passing team. They are a defensive minded team with a hell of a rushing attack. You said, verbatim, "Watch some of the playoffs games he has played with shit WR cores in snow games." Theres the stats. As you pointed out so eloquently, he had one outstanding game. There rest were subtexted with "Oakland was awesome, rich gannon the 40 year old QB was a beast"...And tennesse, stout defense! So we'll take out those 2 games because you have an outstanding excuse. That leaves 4 games, 2 of which were average, 1 good, 1 outstanding. So hey, you were right, take out the teams that were actually worth a shit, and Brady has a good home playoff game, like, 50% of the time. Im not denying that Brady is absolutely unadulterated awesomeness in playoff games when it comes to moving the ball when it counts. He's 5-0 at home with those average stats. Most of that credit, though, goes to great coaching, a good rushing game, and defenses that stepped up. Not to mention the best post season kicker in history.

And c'mon, give big ben a break last year. You'd have a hard time throwing the ball if you face planted into a windshield, then, didnt he have his appendix sucked through a straw? 3 operations in a year or something? If we can toss out brady's performances in those games you listed, can't we toss out last season for big ben?

200 + AVERAGE IS NOT FALLING IN THE PLAYOFFS. THATS FUCKING GOOD FOR THE PLAYOFFS. STOP CALLING 200 YRDS 1 TD AN AVERAGE GAME FOR A PLAYOFF PERFORMANCE.

    Average passing offense - playoffs

    2006 - 210 yards
    2005 - 200 yards
    2004 - 252 yards
    2003 - 239 yards

Don't want to add up the average TD/game, but I'm sure it's over 1. The amazing stat is only 2 INTs at home in those aforementioned games, combined. That's obviously well well under average for playoffs. But 200 passing yards and 1TD is almost spot on as the playoff averages.

    To switch the topic...

Brandon Marshall @ Tenn vs Steve Smith @ green bay. I know neither are awesome choices, but I have to start one of em.
