So for those of you that don't follow sports, the latest little thing turned firestorm has to do with an off-hand joke made by Lakers coach Phil Jackson... which basically makes fun of gay sex.

Personally, I thought the joke was somewhat offensive, but I'd lie if I said I didn't laugh the first time I heard it. Upon repeated listenings though, it's not really all that funny, imo.

So BG, is it:

But he's not retarded. Phil Jackson has been a smart ass since he was in Chicago. His apology today mentioned how he was "Thanking ESPN for blowing something out of proportion and pulling it out of context." While those weren't his exact words, he did mention how ESPN likes to make something out of nothing, which obviously they do. I didn't think it was offensive at all, either way. The chick on the left today mentioned how she checked out one of the bigger "Gay Sports Websites" and it mentioned how they had no issue with what he said. Oh well.
