I was listening to Rome today and he was all "This is not funny" ... but reading emails from all the clones that basically did his schtick for him. So I guess he wins either way.

One valid thing he did say though was that if you replaced "Brokeback Mountain" with "Jenna Jameson" then probably no one would have thought twice about it.

I have to agree. I don't see it offensive in any way. Like someone said earlier, if there was a more common, well known, censor-free term he could use for taking it up the ass then it would've been fine.

Well, he could have said "it was like a DP video shoot out there" and they wouldn't have known what he was talking about soon enough to bleep it. Of course, the joke loses a bit of the power when it takes a few seconds to figure out.
