Petrifying versus Dispelling is highly dependent on the people who play most often on your server and what their set ups are, as Petrifying will help you stay alive but not help your kill speed and Dispel is the only way you have a chance in hell of taking down Instant buffed mobs. If a lot of them on your server run with Instant Phalanx/Protect/Stoneskin/Blaze Spikes then dispel is what you need on your Chigoe to put them down before they can get TP and kill you. If on the other hand they run with more offensive set ups (or even if BLMs are popular), seemingly hard hitting and accurate, or with En-spells then you want to use Petrify.
My suggestions after deciding that would be between
Petrify/Stoneskin/JT/Blink
Dispel/Evasion Bonus/Evasion+15%/JT/Blink

THF JT is only about 10% Evasion but for the FP cost versus the alternatives.. most JTs are efficient and pretty much the only thing you can fit in that last slot when you're nearing max FP capacity.

Between these 2 you should be able to find anything except the newest plates as neither gets updated anymore. It would be great to keep something similar on the BG wiki but I have no idea how to go about it without using some of their information and I do believe that would be frowned upon.

Dispelling isn't on either of those I knew about the second site somehow though.

I am thinking maybe I should try Hippos in Riverne Sites? They have that Dispel thing do they not? Any other ideas I can try?

Started a Flan:

atl lvl: 9 it has 32 FP.

Got a plate with Store TP innate:
So i'm goin' with:

Flan:
BLM/WAR
Store TP **Innate**
Magic Attack Bonus (30)

then hopefully if i have enough FP i want.

Instant Blink (12)
BLM Traits (12)
WAR Traits (12)


My question is ... since Flan is a natural caster it should cast BLM spells without giving it BLM scrolls correct?

You can't start with enspells as innates, actually. So those are pretty much worthless. >.>

i'm not sure if this has been asked or answered already: you can't start with "instant" effects right? like instant stoneskin, etc.

pretty sure you can not get an instant effect as an innate, but i cant say for sure, i've never heard of it that much i know for sure. but i'd think you cant.
