PC speakers are acting weird.

I'm a noob when it comes to PC stuff... I have surround sound boston speakers and only 2 plugin spots on the woofer (where the speakers are connected too) work so only 2/4 of my speakers work. The volume also fluctuates and stuff for no reason... Help D

first off, sure the satellite speakers don't plug into each other? A lot of surround sound systems will have all the satellites one one side plug into one of them, then that final satellite plugs into the woofer, and the same for the other side. If there are actually 4 plugs in the woofer for the satellites, and two don't work, then you're fucked unless you wanna take it apart and solder new plugs in.

In terms of volume fluctuation, make sure the plugs are in solidly. a loose plug will cause some of what you're seeing.

If these are brand new speakers, they might have been rattled too much as well. I'd recommend taking them back when you can.

They are kinda old... But they are decent speakers.. I guess I'll tear it apart and see what it is,.
