Interesting chat log quirk

Was breezing through 2nd floor silver sea remnants when a odd chat log message caught my eye:

I imagine that Piper already had the drown effect active... but instead of the 'No Effect' message or no message at all, it gave me that odd one. Anyone else seen that before?
