I tanked a magicless kirin once on warrior after another shell gave up, and it's so much harder lol. We were killing it with 3 war and a bunch of healer, and 700dmg ws every 2sec does end up hurting more than weak blinktankable spell.

Will be interesting to see the % you drain when attacking a mob affected by drain-samba. The vids seem to show a 100% proc rate. So this could be a very effective sub for nin, since it only requires 1 10tp step to allow you to provoke.

at least we see here that the scholars had the drain effect on too, which means the drain move is aoe <.< this can make tp burns w/o curing possible, awesome o.O

Watch the video, the Dancer and Scholar engage the new Ladybug and already they start draining it without having danced on it before..

It seems like Dancer does the dance on the mob, then anyone who hits that mob will gain a beneficial status effect, which can carry over to any other mob you fight...

So they made it perfect for merits. Not needing to do each buff dance every new mob.

Those are spells, and I do not think anyone has access to a /sch while testing it out.

i was thinking the same thing but , it will break the game >.>; so i dont think they will make drain samba sticks on HNMs probebly.

Im paticularly interested by these spells being part of the Scholars main magic line up.

Ill be happy if R2 is included for SCH because just having WHM with all the good raise spells is a real pain and eating r1 too many times adds up having another job with at least r2 will help significantly. Also interested by the fact that scholar is gettin the current max tier elemental and protect spells by the looks of things. If they do have em on the release id hope that WHM would get access to tier V pro and shell single target (since this saves a lot of time on recasting on just the 1 person + lets the WHM stay out of AoE range while casting) and also hoping that if SCH gets use of the IV single tier magic that BLM will get access to the Tier V + Tier IV aga sets of magic (It could use more of an arsenal in nukes).
