...Except that I'm assuming they need TP to use it(?). It's not specifically mentioned under 'jigs' that it uses TP I suppose (but like isn't that the idea of Dancer, or am I just an idiot?).Originally Posted by Khamsin
So... DNC/SAM anyone? ...Yea let's just dnc/whm and avoid paying for as many sneak oils anyway. Or, and I'll repeat, I'm an idiot.

For one, they're not going to tag on another job to an existing relic. At least, I'd be shocked if they did. If they didn't tag on BLU/COR/PUP to existings... yea. The others, meh.
Now Sirocco, that would be freaking hot. With the 150 delay and all. Better still, it's NOT merc kris. I'm going to cry if DNC can use kris and kraken, just... please god, no. I have a feeling they deliberately picked recasts and TP cost so that these things would be entirely unnecessary and give a ton of extra TP you'd never need to use (oh, and feed the mob plenty of TP). Just please god... I can't deal with yet another job that thinks 0dmg rating multi-hit weapons are the solution to all of life's problems. DRKs and RNGs and THFs and WARs and... /wrists. ...If anyone tries to argue (here or in a PT) that they're more useful because they can WS as well, then be sure to look out for those awesome self-SC'd effect wasp stings [that someone mentioned watching] for 12dmg that comes with a sc effect of 0. Yup. Totally worth it.
Rolling thunder is 120% lawlable to watch already, but this would be far more amusing I must admit.Originally Posted by Tempyst

At first I was apprehensive about how dancer would work end-game. Sure, getting TP on exp/merit mobs is no big deal, but I doubt you want to feed TP to some end-game mobs. However, the Reverse Flourish pretty much changes all that.
DNC/SAM, use meditate. Use your def down/evasion down/magic def down steps. Hit Reverse Flourish. Little-to-no TP loss? Even if there is a little TP loss here and there, you can re-meditate every few minutes. They said there's a 15s recast across all steps. So, even if for some reason you used a step every 15s, that's 12 steps per 3min you could do. As long as the TP loss from Reverse is less than 5TP (I'm assuming you don't get back 100% of the TP you spent every time), then dancer could be viable end-game.
If multiple dancers can land effects on the same mob (3 dancers using the 3 different steps), then they might be a very very powerful job.
