New Spell!

New Spell! "Firestorm" This was seen in the list during the demo of Scholar, when gravity-aoe was used.

My guess is that it is one of the weather spells.

Seems like it goes without saying really, but I'm sure that I'll be way off somehow and look like a chump in the end.

Makes sense to me. Firestorm Sandstorm Windstorm Rainstorm ect. I would like better name variety than what I just typed but /shrug.

Now that I am thinking about it... if Fire Storm is the only "storm" spell that was seen, does that mean that it the weather effect spells are 60+?

Or was the Fire Storm spell at the bottom of the viewable section of the spell list, and it was just that the other storm spells weren't able to be seen? I can't quite remember the order that the elemental spells are listed in the spell log, but I know they don't follow the order that you can learn them.

Fire is at the top of the spell list, so it would likely be the bottom of the viewable section.

Fire is at the top of the spell list, so it would likely be the bottom of the viewable section.

Yeah, I couldn't remember if Fire started the list or not.

But that's good news regardless. It's nice to know that you wont be seeing this:

XXXX uses a scroll of waterstorm.
XXXX learns waterstorm!
