    odd problem cpu/hdd?

    Well on FFXI (just FFXI) my CPU stops working for like 3sec like u can see on the screenshot and all that happens in exact the same time intervalls, i also contacted SE about this issue but all i ve got after sending them screens of my pol cfg and my dxdiag was that:

    so my hardware:
    mobo:GA-965P-DS3
    gfx: nvidia 7950GT
    RAM: Corsair 2GB Kit 800Mhz
    CPU:E4400
    hdd1: 80GB seagate SATA
    hdd2: 200GB seagate SATA (tested both of them with ffxi and OS on it always the same problem)

    oh and i'm using windows xp 32bit atm

    and now the odd thing:
    when i have a download running i don't have this "lag"

    run HijackThis to find out what's running in the background. Also, check to see your ports are open on your router/firewall for FFXI

    did you try running it without the windower and or a different version of windower (lite edition etc)

    i tried with 100% new windows just graphic card drivers installed same problem,

    @Zigma
    yes, it's 100% not windower
