    The way they describe how difficult it will be implemented(it's a maybe) and how players can trade dungeons makes it seem there will be a great of customization. If it was just setting a few settings, they could easily do that.

    Not really. Using the basic system of rearrenging furniture in a MH works too as a basic 'dungeon maker' model but in a bigger scale.

    Think the furniture as walls/obstacles, and place them around as you wish. then take some Manequins and put them here and there, those would be the enemies, then select some predefined option from a bunch, i.e:
    A. If all Enemies are defeated open next level (pop treasure).
    B. If Enemy X is defeated open next level (pop treasure).

    I really doubt it will be anything too complex, but look at Pankration, it isn't Pokemon (although Pokemon is simple enough), but certainly customizable and with an amount of options.
    Yes, but being able to click-and-drag pre-made models and fully develop dungeons with completely custom textures and lighting and everything like Khamsin was suggesting are two entirely different things. <_<

    As far as PS2 limitation goes, if they can make a PS version of RPGMaker (albeit 2D), they could do something like that in FFXI.

    If a PS2 can load a huge zone from a .dat, it'd probably be less memory-intensive to load a grid of premade pieces that you put together. Instead of loading the entire 3D terrain model into memory, it'd just need to load a list of data that essentially says "Position (1,1) has X piece oriented Y direction".

    I sort of like the Nyzle info, but don't. As it is now the drop rate's randomness is incredibly irritating, especially if you also want to do Salvage. 1/18 chance of the weapon you want and restart is pretty bad (and of course quite a few jobs are unwanted like always). I hope they work on that aspect if they are making these weapons awesome.

    on the second trip through nyzul on your disc=- u get the weapon of the job you are when u beat 100. its not random- just kinda pain in the ass.
