THF/dancer?

was thinkin about dancer as thf sub earlyer and it looks promising read befor you flame thz^^

first off this is for events where thf is normaly sitting on side watching not saying this will be a merit or exp sub

mostly iam thinking about this for tp burn kirins normaly thf just put th4 on feint hit and dispand thats all well and good be it to me at least feels like iam contributing nothing sure feint acculy helps alot but its 1 thing regardless

now from what ive read about how dancer works so far is that dances acc is based on your physical acc IE weapon your holdings skill+acc gear you have on so with thf dagger skill and all the +acc gear we get thf should have a very high chance of landing dances even higher then a dancer main seeing as skill is B even warring every piece of acc gear the same and same merits thf/dancer would still have higher shot of landing(dont get me wrong iam not saying dancer ganna be worthless at 75 just that thf has higher chance of landing dancer will have tones of stuff sub cant use obvisly)

now lets say as sub you will have drain samba I as well as steps for eva and def down and iam hoping haste samba but prolly not ganna have it that early

now kirin just been poped start with def down step>eva down step>drain samba>haste samba>then land a feint and drop from lenth of dances this will take maybe 20-25 secs to land all give or take a few secs(yes i know iam prolly way off but iam goin by how long dances in veiwer are)

now even if drain samba is only 10ish per hit thats still not realy bad say a mnk hits for 50 thats 20% extra damage

haste samba i suppose not really needed cuase everyone is ganna be hasted befor start but i included anyway but then agen odds are sub wont have it so dosent matter either way

def down step well no need to exsplain that sweet everyone does more damage

eva down step main reason i wanted to use dancer sub easy way to double up eva down feint + step

now this is hoping that it works like normal enfeebles do and you can slap on as many as you want and not like brd being 2 main 1 sub witch wouldent necicerily kill my idea if its just 1 use def step + feint and your still heloing out more

iam ganna test this out myself after release ganna rush to 37 and test out on kirin within a week or so of well not realse i had to order mine so i wont get it for a few days till after its gone live but soon after i get and ill update post with findings and prases of with and without hopfully

iam assuming that dancer gets at least eva and def down dances befor 37 other wise disregard this after release if it dosent plz

Also depends on how effective said dances are, if I remember correctly there's tier II versions of said dance and well... if they're shit, like every other subbed support job, then it would be a really bad sub regardless.

of the samba's yes and i sed even if its only 10ish it would still help the steps on other hand dont have any higher tier's listed and since landing is based on acc that wont be a problem for most decently geared and merited thf

this is just a better way to make use of sub as thf in this kind of fight where nin war or any other sub dont help since your only trying to land feint and drop normaly

even if it isent a super mega high effect as sub say even only half potency taking advatage of it is better then just doing nothing

dances wont have dancing skill so unlick say using rdm sub and tryin to stick slow witch cuase of half skill wont happen dances being bassed off acc will stick using as sub and SE sed they where ment to be good subs and it being front line job sub makes sence whms and blms and rdm's wont be able to take advatage of it cuase how much acc gear can they use or will most even have weapon skill capped using thf/dancer makes some sence and iam hoping thats what they ment by being a good sub

I'll be taking Dancer to 37 mostly just to play with this idea. I'd still rarely do it because even with Accomplice I tank most things I do but I think it'll be fun to try out. Dancer seems to have accuracy bonus which is nice for THF since I refuse to eat anything but meat for it.

drain samba being like blood weapon would be far to overpowered and take away from drk so that aint happaning like that odds are it will be a set % or number say 10 for tier I 20 for teir II and 30 for tier III

I believe they meant like blood weapon but not 100%.

it is 100% proc in all the vids but i cant make out how much they draining i dout 1-5 cuase then who would use it i mean come on 5 hp per hit isent helpfull its not ganna keep you alive but 10-30 depending on tier seems reasonable

And it comes back to the question is, how effective is dancer as a SJ? for like every other support job it seems good on paper but in practice it's nothing more than a bad sub. It purely depends on how much we lose dancer abilities and potency as a sub than anything else. Which, regarding SE's past, is probably pretty bad that makes the sub trivial at best.

1~5hp per hit done by 4 people adds up, especially if you have Mnks or people dual wielding.

5 hp per tick would be sufficient, and that's about what I'm expecting.

Would be nice in the dunes as a main healer perhaps too.

there is no dancing skill its based off your main hand weapon skill and +acc gear your warring

was only planing on lvling it cuase i thout i would be able to use my thf gear i aint buying anouther set of gear for anouther job inventory alrdy way to full MH full locker full inventory 58/60 at any givin time and 2 mules with 50/50 mh and 30/30 inventory aint paying another 1$ a month for a 3rd mule just so i can lvl anouther job that from looks of it ganna be mega gimp endgame and 2 gobbie quests big deal few more slots witch will only let me bring all my gear sets with me at once if iam lucky /sigh had such high hopes for dancer too ; ;
