FFXI Graphics and sound

When I play FFXI on my PC, the sound gets all choppy sometimes when spells are abililty sound effects are played, and when there's any movement, sometimes there are random colored pixels all over, like where a character is moving and it goes one color where they were, or when I move the camera, the areas don't come in clear because of that.

Has anyone else had problems like these? I'll post my computer specs once I get home, and maybe see if I can get some screenshots of it happening.

if you have any experience try Under Clocking it a little bit to see if the problems go away.

And my video card is a NVIDIA GeForce 6600. I know it's old, but I don't really play many games on my computer anymore, besides FFXI.
