    Round fucking 1: Conserve MP

Oh hay guyz look Arts reduces MP cost and omg look guyz I get +10 mp boost too to max MP at a minimum

    Round 2: Auto Refresh

What kind of crack are you smoking, that's stupid in the eyes of Conserve MP now.

    Round 3: Fast Cast

You didn't even mention it but sure, I'll bring it in too. Oh look guyz artz bookz omgz cast time -% !1111

I'm thinking not all equipment has been modified for the coming of Dancer and Scholar yet. A lot of super common items like Life Belt and Scorp Harness don't even have either job listed (and really, both ~should~ have Dancer atleast).

We know it went from D to B on the level 60 SCH, so in an assumption it's the same scale throughout levels, it would go from 101 to 109 with /SCH37; which would give +1 to barspell. If only it were just two more points.

I am still not completely discounting SCH as a sub, however; but I like the idea of extra Divine Skill and Fast Cast and other such things. But I was never thinking I would be able to store JAs or change weather with it as a sub in the first place... not really sure why anyone thought something that unique would be available pre-40. At most it would have been like, earth and water weather. ._.

I am a little disappointed about the -ga, but never thought of it for use on enhancing spells in the first place, only for the enfeebles: like second chances for BLMs to Sleepga II, though I believe I stated the first time it came up that they would probably consider that imbalanced.

I'm really surprised DNC isn't getting Merc. Kris though. (Thank god I didn't buy one in anticipation. )
I didnt expect to get all weather effect spells or to stack all 3 abilitys. But at least haveing 2-4 of the weather spells and the AoE ability would have made it for me clear the best sub for my whm, but now its just seems kind of a meh sub, it doesnt either surpass /blm /smn nor replace one of them for my WHM. its comes all down to "do I want constant 10~% conserve mp and slightly faster casting" vs. "a random conserve MP that can save you 50% and an ability for "oh shit" purposes (ES sleep) + warp" vs. "constant auto-refresh and higher MP max and carby pulls", none of them seems to be by far better then the other :/

the AoE ability for enhancing spells from SCH would have made the choice easy.

Equipment stats have not changed on Taj's due to the .dats changing their format. So nothing is final.

Apparently they do have tier IV nukes, according to one of the fanfest people in one of the threads. As well as Raise II.

As for Accession making your next WHM Enhancing or Healing spell AoE, would that mean Raise II can be made AoE? I wonder if the potency one would bump Raise -> Raise II, and Raise II -> Raise III?

I'm pretty sure someone at the fanfest said they don't have tier4 nukes. They stop at 60 and then get elemental DoTs instead.

    Accession
Extends the effect of your next healing or enhancing white magic spell to party members within range. MP cost is tripled and casting time is doubled.

I'll go out on a limb and say it probably won't upgrade raises or make them AOE, but that's still up in the air and speculation. Just using divine seal as a basis really.

    and raise is healing skill

I would kinda figure DNC/SAM at mid/high level for Meditate alone. I mean, depending on how you look at it/how much TP you'll need over time, 60TP of 100 or 300 TP is still a nice chunk to generate back for nothing ever 3 minutes.
They way they had DNC setup at FanFest was with all Acc Gear.
    2x Sniper+1/PCC/Sole Sushi+1/etc...
I actually had no problem maintaining TP. I didn't use any regular WS's though. I think as long as your not having to spam cures it makes for a pretty awesome setup.

As far as end-game goes though... not sure how well they are going to hold up. But still would be a fun job.. not to mention I will be one hot galka.

    @ Khamsin
I did not see any Teir IV Spells when trying out Scholar or Raise II.
I did see someone use Raisega though >_>

They may have just left those spells out though. I know for fact I saw the Firestorm spell in the Preview on Day1 but when you got to play the job as a Lv60 there were a few msising spells.

Re: The New Jobs Nov. 20. 2007

    Let's talk about something cooler.

QQ, scholar sucks at subjob, qq, wah wah.

Ok, so what about what are we going to sub to Scholar?

Like, unless I'm missing something, we've got:

WHM: -na's, Erase, don't even talk about teleports, Reraise but items can do this

RDM: Fast Cast, minor MATKb, MDEFb, decent INT+MND mix, Phalanx unless SCH gets

BLM: Conserve MP, native Sleepga, Elemental Seal

So like, I mean I see WHM being useful in XP pts, but outside of that, I don't have a clue as to what to do sometimes. Everything's got good benefits and some downsides.

dancer still looks like an appealing sub for the 2 jobs that dual weild natively mnk and ninja. drain samba II at 70/35. as a monk that hates /nin drain samba + chakra + invigorate sounds like sex. id be curious if drain samba can proc on counters. heres hoping dancer can equip pahluwan set. a couple other points of interest i wonder how schl will be as a sub for drg. and what type of sub dancer will be classified as.

Magic string table that has the spell levels in stuff in it isn't revealing anything either.
