Took the maw from Battalia and every zone (Saru/Meriphataud) happens to be full dead ends. Just warped, as the walking became a chore. No idea how to get to sandy/windy/bastok.

I would say you will find a zone on the west part of Meriphataud and you continue your way to windurst from there. You should get your recommandation in garlaige as well since you will need it in Windy.

..not that I've any clue, no expansion for 2 days.

which town is it that you can talk to an NPC that allows you to go back to the past if you've already went there and left? i'm hearing you cant just go to the Maw again, it doesn't work or something?

You need to use them once from the past to future to be able to reuse them as far as I can understand.

I'm not sure where that zone is, it wasn't on the map (the zone to Tahrongi wasn't there, so I figured it was similar to the entrance into the Maze, but nope) I didn't bother going to the Zitah zone as it too didn't have a label so I figured it was another dead end.

D-6, D-8, D-10? If you went to those 3 places and didnt find a cave or something then I don't know. It would be the obvious place to go first imo. Might want to wait for someone who actually went to windy first tho.

Just read there was one tunel at D-8 in another thread. No clue where the other 2 are.

what's the deal with the "Recommendations"? is that a quest you need to start in your home city or something? anyone have a list of the NPC's for it to start the quest?

Can you describe it? >_> The darksteel armor and a similar one with blue border (might be the one used for assault breasplate) are old, and no one ever used them.

Don't go southeast in Meri, go southwest, just a little northwest from the old Tahrongi zone, theres a cave that zones to the good Karugo which you can generally work south/southwest through to get to Saruta.

The cave is at D-10.

The cave at D-10 is hard to find, it just looks like a dip in the wall. There's another cave over by Waraxe Beak's spawn point that's a dead end.

Anyway, made it to windy and there's a guy over by the crafting guild asking for delectable dishes. This is just a guess, but I'd say I need to head to the head chef back in the present. Also, I started the foraging missions for windy (whose name escapes me at the moment) and the quartermaster said he wanted a sprig of Fresh Marjoram. Time for me to get harvesting. -_-;
