Town discussion

Haven't seen this pointed out, so I thought I would. The general-type NPCs seem to like to disappear and reappear in towns at will. I know I've seen Invinicible Shield and that wierd-named-RDM-with-the-af2-hat-and-cool-armor-I-don't-recognize NPC both in town and not in town.

They disappear when they're helping out with a campaign battle.

I assumed as much. Just something to point out in case these NPCs become necessary for missions or quests or such.

I hope -- perhaps in vain -- that since some quest NPCs were already fixed to not disappear during Campaign, that they will think to not put generals as essential for quests or missions.

Speaking of, where the hell is my Gadalar quest?

I thought Gadalar was the first quest...

He was just shown in the first quest, no background involved. All of the other Generals change their dialog after completing their quests. Galadar still hates on you, your mom, and your chocobo when you talk to him.

It seems now if the cities come under attack, regular NPC's disappear, including the Sigil guys....

Speaking of, where the hell is my Gadalar quest?

Considering Nyzul relic ask you to do "everything", I wouldnt be surprised if last quest involved him.

Either way, I hope we will get it, those quest were amazing. I loved the fighting scene in the mithra one.

That was there before the patch, I assume it's if you get to a certain point in the Bastok quests.
