Everything I saw, And everything I heard, said that Sprinters Shoes' Quickening effect wears off within 60 secs or equiping different pair of feet armor. I thought "well that sucks" and didnt think on it further. Today while mining I was using Sprinters, It turned night and I said fuck it, Ill use nin boots they better anyways. Much to my suprise Quickening didnt wear off and I had +37.5 movement all night long.

Has it always been like this? or last update fixed it?

Must have confused "min" and "sec". They last 60min.

Sprinter shoe however should be called "Sprint Shoes" and allow you to run twice as fast. Both the finalfantasy fanboy and FFXI player in me would be happy.

I used them in an assault last night, they seem to be good anywhere. And a cheap re-buy at 980 AN.

Smart Grenade seems to have a hidden effect of att +4. Not sure if there's any other hidden effects on it.

A quick guide for the quest "Message on the Wind" since I haven't seen anything on it yet.

- Go to the Metalworks in the present and talk to Romualdo at K-9 in the cannonry.
- Head to Batallia Downs [S] and go to I-7 to talk to Romualdo again.
- Talk to Childerich at E-12 in Grauberg [S].
- Check the ??? at J-9 just east of the Grauberg outpost.
- Go back to Childerich.
- Go back to Romualdo in Batallia to finish the quest and receive Smart Grenade.

After this speak to Romualdo in the Metalworks and then Childerich again. Choose "Message on the Wind" when Childerich asks you and you'll receive the title "Windtalker".

EDIT: Just got it and I can confirm +4 atk. And I thought they got over having ammo w/ melee bonuses that could actually be thrown

Can you check accuracy bonus as well? +4atk on range slot is weak considering how cheap bomb core is, but if it was something like +4atk/+4acc, it could be a decent "gimped" alternative to fire bomblet (6atk/6acc)

Goblin Freesword in Batallia (S) is EP normal eva/def

With DEX 55+7 and Acc+10 it has low evasion

With DEX 55+9 and acc+8 and smart grenade it has normal evasion

Anyone know what Lycopodium Flower is used for? There are a few jp buying em, maybe just for show, but couldn't find anywhere what it's used for. Had an alchemist friend try to desynth, didn't work.
