This is exactly why we moan about equipment. Most other jobs have AF2 and other sets that they can use at 75. We have one set thats ok. Honestly AF2 for SMN is useful, but its far from good. I think we've grinded through this before a few thousand times. The only thing I would seriously complain about smn is the lack of useful bloodpacts pre 65. It's a dirt cheap job compaired to others, but does require a lot of time and effort to equip regardless.
BTW, anyone rank up yet?

SMN not getting any good gear has a lot to do with the fact no stat but specific shit like skill, -bpdelay, and -perprate actually helps them. I don't think SE is all too willing to make every job SMN gets paired up on these armor sets have all this -perprate.

Yeah, but unfortunately most gear is going to be based stats. Like Morrigan's for example. Three mage jobs that benefits from (either or both) the INT and MND. Most gear is going to include stuff like Accuracy or INT+... SMN has nothing to benefit from anything that isn't extremely specific. It's either JSE or bust for them. The person arguing that SMN is on par with PUP for gear options needs to try actually playing PUP. SMN usually don't look pretty because they're wearing some bastard assortment of Yigit/Nashira/Yingyang/whatever but the gear -is- there.
Are you -seriously- complaining that your armor doesn't have relevant stat bonuses? Do you have any idea how much +CHR I can access as PUP in relation to STR?

Just give smns gear that gives avatars job traits, like double or triple attack, and killer effects. :D

Hello- I haven't seen it so I am posting it here. I have completed the Iron Ram set tonight, and the ATK bonus is....

4 ATK
QQ......... Acc I'm guessing is the same, I am selling my set as a package deal right this moment to a willing rich player.
However I did notice something interesting to note here-! And it gives me hope for the remaining armors of the other nations... The set increase was Gradual as in, once I went above a single piece, some of the ATK bonus began adding up, with no visible ATK stats from gear. (Hence 4 atk, as in, 4 slots after the first slot. 5 Total Slots filled).
This gives me some hope for Fourth gear, and possibly Cobra gear. :sandy:
