I know Wivres were mentioned earlier in this post, does anyone have any luck with hide drops in the WoTG zones?
killed about 60-70 Wivres in Grauberg [S] with TH3 still no hide..

I got 4 mauls (which won't sell) and one tusk there in about two hours w/o TH....no hides either.
Haven't got any hides either... but considering how bad the drop was in AU that doesn't mean anything >.>
Which ones did you tried killing the Lessers (N. Gusta [S]) or the normal (Grauberg [S])? I mean 60-70 kills and no hide is pretty bad... Although I tried in Bhaflau Thickets with BLM manaburning and me as THF to at least have TH3, about 10k exp later, still no hide either.
I was doing the ones in Grauberg by where the teleport dumps you out. I've done the ToAU ones, so I know that two hours killing them with no drops proves nothing. >.<
Need information on the possible family Sandworms are under. Also Pixies, if they are unclassified or Arcana.

I would guess they fall under Beastmen. Same as Poroggo's and Sahagin.
I still hope pixies fall under a new group called "fairies," which would include wild moogles.![]()
I did both Wivres (Grau and Gus)
And Fairy's aggro low HP, clearly they are undead >.> <.<
Ha, ha. I'd hate to see them vanish in the mornings.Originally Posted by Kaslo

My R3, noooooo!
One thing that's nice on the higher HP- lots of places to skill up.
My atrophied Parry skill was getting some nice skillups on the DC Quadav near the Pashow/Rolanberry border, and one Quadav lasted a looong time solo. If you don't kill them, pixies might not be bad sparring partners either. After all, even if die they'll just Raise you...
i was bored the other day and started wandering around batallia where i found an EP djinn. i figured what the hell, i'll punk it. hit it w/ a T4, bound it, hit it w/ another T4...and then something that scared the shit out of me happened. it was at 30% and i started to nuke it w/ a T3 spell. it was at this time that the bomb unbound, ran straight for me, and tried to use Nocturnal Combustion. i realized just how screwed i might be if it had enough HP to kill me in 1 explosion (and it just might as a squishy taru) when my nuke got off before it could finish exploding and killed it. this is very strange to me as either the mob started w/ TP, or something i did gave it VAST sums of TP, as my nukes should have only given it 20%. it was nighttime at the time and it was firesday, so i suspect that either it has TP regen at night or it has TP regen on darksday and that carried over onto firesday w/ him sitting at 300% TP b/c nobody else was as dumb as i was to try to play with what might be an unsleepable, unstunnable bomb.
Maybe TP regen at night, because their blowing up move is called "Nocturnal Combustion" and I hope you know what nocturnal meansOriginally Posted by Spekkio

About the ladybugs, I was killing the EP Biddybugs in Jugner so I could work off a latent while getting wings. There seems to be some method by which they get stronger as was mentioned, though if it's like Apkallu or not, I don't know. When I started killing them they were swinging fairly slow with 1-2 attacks in a round for 30 damage on average and only did the Spiral Spin. Later they added the other TP moves mentioned. They also started swinging much faster, 4-5 attacks in a round were fairly common, with many of those being criticals for 100+. Maybe I just got unlucky though. I did have Sigil on. I seemed to remember saying that maybe they got stronger in the day, but I looked through this thread and didn't find it, but I might also fail at searching.
I just now fought my first three ladybugs in Jugner because they all linked to me aggroing en EP-low-low one. It was daytime, however they weren't really attacking all that much faster than a standard quick mob. The first one I killed used Spiral Spin, the second one I fought used Sudden Lunge and Nepanthean Hum, and the last one I fought used Spiral Spin. I don't quite think it's apkalluish.Originally Posted by Jer

I thought the Sandworm only spawned in the areas around Jeuno, but a few hours ago we killed him in North Gustaberg.
Got an earth crystal and a cool title for the 30 min fight :D
Any luck on intimidations? Well, I don't think people walk around with much Amorph killer on them.Originally Posted by Tyrath

Taking pictures for Pankration can also help (since chances are you'll get a killer effect). Someone on otherwiki confirmed slugs are amorphs like this.Originally Posted by BRP
that's why i suggested it. ^^ i just thought it would be rather sickeningly mean to make them have TP regen at night as almost any bomb that aggros would have 300% TP from the get go as nobody would have killed them in the past hour. that's why i put forth the darksday theory too. still, it's not inconceivable that SE would do something so mean. they do have a history. ^^Originally Posted by Lordwafik
