    Re: Monster discussion

If anyone wondering, the VT gnoles(Lobison) at jugner forest do drop the claw. Went 1/20ish with 3 ppl, no TH, at new moon.

It was pretty fun, though not a super exp, but it gives constantly 200 exp. 161 exp with no chain.

edit: the main healer was MNK/DNC >.> he was curing 3 ppl np

The crawler in zhayolm engage with tp move when they have regen. It would probably be similar if they had tp regen.

    What?

He's saying that giving a mob auto-meditate under a condition as common as "during nighttime" would be mean because no one kills the djinns, practically guaranteeing that they'd have 300% TP if you engaged one unless it had spawned sometime that day. I'm saying that's untrue because mobs lose TP 10% a tick while not engaged on something (and, obviously, while not receiving TP from auto-meditate), putting it at 0% TP 90 seconds from night ending.

Eruca have auto-meditate during fire weather, yeah, and if you pull one during it it's probably going to kill you with Incinerate, but if you pull one that was alive during the weather over one minute from when fire weather ended, it wouldn't have enough TP to Incinerate you.

I know that, but it's not the case with Djinn. They don't use tp move right away like Eruca when you engage them. I fought 2 on thunderday, and both exploded after 2-3nukes when they were low hp. If they were under the effect of tp regen, they would have WS'd right away, not after taking some dmg.

Why didn't you just say that?

It's also just possible that SE isn't evil enough to make bombs self-destruct on aggro, which doesn't really explain why they wouldn't Berserk or use their Wave/Impact WS.

My bad, I thought Spekkio said that earlier, but he was just describing his fight. TP regen might start once they engage or something. Could explain why both had tp after the first bind wore off. Or just a low hp triger that make them selfdestruct no matter how much tp they have.

Might still be tp regen at night I guess, but like you said, it would have used berserk

could just be varying mob levels, after you kill a mob they sometime respawn easier or harder

full moon lobison definetly WAY stronger than new moon, i went back there with 6 ppl, the difference was really noticeable.

also took a group of 6 to jugner forest, killing VT orcs from Vunkerl entrance. It was really strange, with sigil on, VT Orc Champion only gives 119 EXP at Chain5......

I'm beginning to think that there's no good merit spot at past at all lol.

    MNK,DRG mob = fast
PLD mob eventough only T = Slow, somehow their block rate is like 90%

DRG mob jump does like 400-500 dmg

Campaign, if fixed= Past meripo spot.

Yeah, you probably won't ever get 30k/hour unless they make it ridiculously awesome, but it beats the hell out of crappy random parties, LFPing, or Besieged.

Campaign is currently capped at 3600 EXP/hour, the only way it's going to be a decent alternative is if SE gets rid of the timer on the tags.

Hence why I said if it gets fixed. The timer thing is just poorly implemented, fight lasts 5 minutes, you decimate four normal mobs yourself and do 3k to the NM, but only get 300 Exp because you didn't realise you had to wait 25-30 minutes for the tags to fill up fully.

They put them in to stop people filling up multiple tags, maybe they will just put a limit to one tag per campaign until you zone out and back to get a new one, and just put a reasonable hard cap on it. Unless they increase the frequency drastically, none of them are gonna last long enough to fill out say, a 3k hard cap... least til people get sick of trying.

Better yet, keep the timer thing, but only make it apply if you turn in a tag early, when the fight is over, why the ungodly hell can't I get the full exp I earned without sitting around in the battlefield for 10-15 minutes? Am I supposed to be performing triage on the NPC's corpses which vanished?

Better yet, leave it how it was in the first place, because no matter how many times you fill up you don't get the same exp you get in a merit party.

Well, it's so rare for them to return something to it's original creamy goodness.

Ranger got nerfed, semi-fixed, semi-borked, and now fixed again, but it's completely different from how it used to be.

2hers went from auto-nerfed, to IDDKFA God Mode, to sweet, and now it's nerfed compared to what it was, but still better than it was, just different.

I imagine campaign will get fixed to be a lot better than it is now, but man I wish I'd realised they didn't intend for it to be how it was, I would have done it 24/7 during those few days and cashed in on the yummy goodness instead of exploring/doing quests/missions and some Campaigns.

Was same mob from 96% moon to 98%. Went from VT to VT++. Reason we went in the first place was to see the time they stand on there two feet because its the only time the will use asuran claws, a possible blu spell in January. Read somewhere they do it only at night but that was false. Full moon only

aye. there are a lot of possibilities. 1 fight is hardly enough to call it conclusive evidence and my two suggestions were purely postulations based off the limited experience i gleaned in a single mob. needless to say after that scare, however, i don't relish the idea of a round 2 with these little devils.
