Oh also, the new mandies don't seem to be of any immediate threat to summoner avatars.
In sea, your avatar will immediately engage anything that aggroes, including 'hpemde which aggro but don't engage. I explored w/ Carbuncle out and had three mandies /follow me when I went screenshot happy in Sarutabaruta [S] and did not see Carbuncle engage one, ever. I think there may be a glitch here, or it might just be that avatars engage only Lumorians that exhibit 'hpemde behavior.

Or the hpemde thing is a glitch, and this is how it's supposed to be.

Has anyone tried to charm the Pixies yet?

I want a pet Pixie, or even better a Pixie summon!

Uncharmable, LSmate tried and only bound it. They are not very nice after you fight a third one. Aoe's increased in dmg consistently quickly. They will still randomly cure. Yellow hp in Fort Karugo-Narugo, cured me to full, and in Batallia Downs [S] (below) cured to full very first time:

Still not known what is the pixie hate (like tonberry and fomor hate) level limit if there is one. My guess is that they will stop curing/raising people or cure/raise at much slower pace as hate is increased. Saw Lordwafik's post of pixie-r3. I lol'ed

Special Attacks:
Regurgitation: AoE Damage + Bind; may strip shadows
Torpefying Charge: AoE Paralyze
Grim Glower: Causes mob's eyes to glow reddish/orange, no idea what it does. Haste or Acc boost possibly.
Delta Thrust: 5 hit physical attack(?)

Notes: Susceptible to Sleep, Gravity, Bind, and Stun. Bind frequently resists with HQ staff and 279 skill. Gravity is quite reliable.

Aggressive, Detects by Sight, Doesn't Link

Drops: Peiste Stinger, Peiste Skin. Skin seems less common than stingers.

Approximately 6,000 HP.

Waited until full moon wore and I've been killing some more Gnoles...They have used Curing ability which rules out the idea that they only using during full moon....Now if this fucking claw would just drop....I've seen one in a JP bazaar and she/he said it was a drop, so it must be very rare. Probably 0/15 with TH3.

How much HP was filled though? It's possible that moon phase affects potency, much like Fenrir's (and Diabolos's ?) moves.

Some of Diabolos's moves are somewhat affected by time of day, I think. It's been a long time since I've even played so I could be pulling stuff out of my ass right now.

Just to add to the above: in Jugner [S], the Gnoles seem to have bipedal (yes two feet) movement around 50% moon (on increasing to full moon phase,)
where the ones in Batallia [S] walk on fours. The ones in Jugner [S] I ran into sorta by mistake when I was previously trying to avoid aggro at all costs to get Maws with sneak/invis and they did not aggro (I also ran around a few in circles after my discovery of them.) At 86% (on increasing to full moon phase,) LSmate was running by Gnoles in Jugner [S], aggroed through sneak/invis and got mauled.

There isn't a BLU 5 hit in the dats, it's a 6 hit and Gnoles do it while standing.

Random monster moves:
Gnole TP move that heals for ~1000 and heals their status (plenilune whatever) also gives them attack boost. Their multi-hit attack they do while on all fours gives DEF down and stun if it does damage, neither of it doesn't (Stoneskin).

Pixies have a Dispel-all TP move, but even after they use it they still hits like girls. I was getting hit from 0-15 with Phalanx and shitty melee gear on on RDM.

I nuked everything else, so it didn't get to use TP moves.

I still find it amusing that biddybugs are charmable.

Was running through Vunkerl and "<Name> can not charm the Pixie!" or something to that effect pop up in my chat log. Had never seen anything like it (haven't even unlocked BST nor leveled with them) so I'd assume you can't.

Blu debuffs/buffs never really match up with mob versions, so I wouldn't put too much thought into it.

Gnoles: Beasts? Demons?

Sandworms: Vermin? Amorphs?

Pixies: Wtf? Beastmen maybe? If they drop gil they might be; if they don't then probably not. Unless/until BLU gets a pixie spell, it's hard to tell.
