    Little report after the maintenance.. Did campaign in east ron and turned in my tags for 455exp and 228 allied notes. Got new tags and went back to damaging and after 3 short lived orcs (got frenetic rip off on one and disseverment off on another) it ended and when I turned in my 2nd tags I got 100 exp AND allied notes.

    I'm going to assume that extra tags have a cap of some sort because I don't ever get the same amount exp and allied notes unless I hit the cap of 600/600.

    Did they just break quadav mobs? I have 5 hitting my blm and none is able to land a hit (20% acc) on. None of their spell landed either lol. I'm the only one taking part in this campaign and bastok is last...might be why.
    For me, the Quadav BLM that attacked Gustaberg and the Quadav WHMs that defended Grauberg were all broken like the Mamool Ja were at the beginning of ToAU. Like, they didn't have skills in the proper weapons and magic types. The BLMs cannot land a single nuke and the WHMs can't stick any Divine Magic or debuffs at all. Their Banish spells were hitting me for single digit damage on WHM, and they hit for like 80 damage at best, on a critical hit. Comparatively, the Quadav melees in Rolanberry and Crawlers' Nest were ridiculously powerful.

    Anyone know if you can build influence in another country's area? Like, is it possible for Windurst to build influence in Jugner, for example? I don't see any examples of this on my map, it seems like everyone is sticking to their own land.

    Quadav are broken -- Rolanberry and Pashhow are retarded. You can build influence in other areas, but only if he NPCs of that nation are the one's attacking that "round".

    For example: if Sandoria's troops attack Pashhow, regardless of how many Bastokan and Windurstan PCs are there, if the battle is won, Sandoria's influence will increase.

    The big theory going around on hades is that the number of campaign ops. completed by each nation determines how aggressive that nation is in attacking other territories.

    Okay, I've been studying that little bar under the icons, and I believe it is either a "time limit" remaining in the fight until it ends, or more accurately, a gauge showing roughly how much "fight" is left in that campaign fight. I visited ronfarue when their bar was only about 10% full, and it was ending just as I got there. I then went to jugner, where it was a little over half full, and fought for roughly 10 minutes -- both of these were "defense" missions, as sandy controlled both zones.

    My hypothesis is that for defending missions, it shows the total remaining power of the attacking squad, so as to help a player better judge whether to waste the trip going out there. That's just my guess, but I'll have more info on it as I do more fights today.

    Um, they moved the Fort-Karugo Campaign NPC... Iono where to start it now lol

    EDIT: Oh nvm, I guess when Windy took it over, all our NPCs moved inside the Fort instead of outside.

    It appears on the areas not under attack as well, sooo... Perhaps when the gauge fills up the area is attacked and when it empties the battle ends. After the battle is begins to fill again until the next attack. Maybe.. idk just a guess.

    I don't think that's it. I went to a zone with an almost-full bar and waited for Campaign to start, and the music started playing after about 15 minutes with the bar not moving much if at all.

    Edit: And it went down none after the battle ended.

    Judging from my post emergency-maint. battles, the cap is still 600/600 no matter how many tags you get. They did however decrease the rate you get points at. Usually I could get almost 3 capped tags per battle, now I tend to have problems capping one in zones with weak mobs (read: all but Quadav).

    That's probably just your server. On Garuda there's usually plenty of NAs and even more JPs participating.

    Hmm, I did some various testing tonight to see what all they changed. Someone told me about the -HP, +HP, Cure 4 getting mad points while waiting for the actual fight to start, so I did that before maintenance and got about 500xp/250allied notes for depleting 2 sets of MP (use mp -> convert -> use mp again -> talk to NPC). After maintenance, I went and did the same thing exactly and got 200xp/200notes. Then I talked to NPC and waited for the fight to start and just engaged (casted no magic besides Ice Spikes, Phalanx, and en-blizzard), soloed a mob down to 50% while others beat on me, then brought it to the NPCs and killed a couple others. Got exactly 400xp/400notes - this was done w/out casting any cures whatsoever. I thought it seemed kinda weird getting such exact numbers like 400 and 200.

    So maybe you can only get a cap of 400 by just meleeing (maybe using JA adds more points to the cap of 400), and healing magic has a cap of 200 which = 600? Just a thought. Might do some more testing tomorrow, but I gotta go to bed cuz class. Has any DD-only job (not /whm) gotten over 400 points for just DDing in a Campaign since update? Of course, I'm not sure if doing Weapon skills or job abilities add past the 400 cap as I didn't do any of either on RDM.

    Maybe I just got lucky with the exact numbers of 400 and 200 when I did the testing, lol. Ofcuz, like I said, I don't know if JAs and WSs add more points than just straight melee. Has any mage just cured the entire campaign and gotten over 200? If so, then my numbers were purely based on luck of getting exactly 400 + 200.
