I thought MaxiBerger was the one who focused on Pre-Emptive strikes?

They might both, if you read their voting descriptions theyr'e almost the same.

But we won't know until SE attempts to provide some intelligible info.

Likewise you get some benefit for killing the Beastmen's most popular leader. Just a thought.
Nope. It does mean that leader's not going to spawn with their unit for a while, though. I've seen cases where three different Sandy leaders got "grievously wounded" on the same fight. Uggggggly.

Wonder which of those will help Offensive ops, namely Pit Spider III

I don't think it does, but it's not going to stop me from casting it since I like to see my other spells land after dispelling Shell .
I made a heap of points dispelling quads in pashlow on sc once I realised I could land it at 66. It wasn't the only thing I was doing, but it was the only new thing and seemed to make a difference. Obviously for several reasons...

I want to throw this out there that if you use /BLM(or SCH, BLM main) for campaign, pretty much every mob besides the kindred/gigas are aspirable. I'm not sure if this is widely known, but it's extremely helpful. I rest a lot less due to this. The few 'common' mobs I know that aren't are the Yagudo Samurais. Haven't encountered an Orc I can't aspir yet. Quadavs are a given.

Actually for 4 months I did campaign as RDM/WHM(for obvious reasons)before being SCH which doesn't need a sub for drain/aspir, I been going around using it on every mob til I came to that conclusion. I already said I didn't know if it were widely known or not.

I figured that if it's a melee mob, it's not going to have MP. Unless it's mnk type or PLD. However, job type doesn't seem to matter in campaign. That said I was wrong for thinking so.

On that note, I don't like shadow mobs because then the rest fest starts.

Sorry for pointing out the obvious >_>.

I used MP Drainkiss on a campaign mob by mistake when I first got WOG and thought it was a glitch. It wasn't until it suddenly stopped working and SE said THAT was the glitch til I realized it was meant to be that way.

Non-mage Belfry Mobs (Khroma Quadav) don't have MP, this blows horribly.

Ok I got my wings of honor, and I've done 3 evals so far.. I'm being told I have x amount of days left before it expires(20 to be exact). Do I keep it by just ending the evaluation?

AN has same cap as exp, but it's gained at half the rate, so if you get same exp/an you've capped out your exp/an per min, if you time is long enough that your exp maxs out then you should 2x AN for exp, if you get inbetween means did enough to cap exp in the time but not enough to full cap AN. Look at the chart on BG wiki that explains exp values, and AN are half of those.

Maybe it's just me, but if SE's goals for campaign battles is to get players to cooperate with each other, then I think they're failing miserably. You get crap for healing, crap for enfeebling, crap for enhancing, crap for raising, crap for spellcasting, but a metric fuckton of point for causing damage. So hurray for WHM and RDM feeding mobs TP while there are dead players littered all over the floor and unbuffed NPCs getting the shit smacked out of them and...oh, hey, nevermind.

Man I don't know what happened but all of a sudden campaign on Bahamut is just rapetown USA. Sandy used to do good, but now theres just tons of waves of everything and no NPCs around. I don't get it. :/

I checked the map last night and Windy had just over half influence in Saruta. I woke up this morning and checked again and it's back to zero. Makes me wonder just what the hell happened while I was asleep.

    Beastmen are angry this week.

And I don't know about all you people, but I get good points on RDM doing my job with some meleeing thrown in. Holding half a wave of ninjas when there aren't enough people around to deal with them is fun.

So here are some observations from this weeks interesting turn of events on my server. A small group of about 8 jp players holed themselves up in Pashhow sunday and repeatedly pulled several mobs off to fight, and help trim them down. The week also what I think is a necessary strategy for retaking areas, which is preemptive strike, and sabatoge. The most important part however as it seemed to me, were the Recon unit that was repeatedly sent out to heal the fort back to full. The group would wait for them even when they were sent out in between campaign battles They split into 2 groups, one waited for some to the west, one waited to the east of the fort in the narrow path for the other half. In this way they kept the fort from being patched, and defeating the entire unit may actually lower the fort current HP.

Now this week Bastok owns pashhow. This is after having 1 zone the entire time since the last update. Now however, the NPC units along with some player support seem to be gaining influence in Grauberg simply without much effort. This seems odd compared to how it took extremely dedicated players hours of time to finally do the same beforehand. When I thought about I noticed that the recon mobs are not being sent to Grauberg despite its low fort HP. Instead they keep being sent out to Pashhow for sabatoge. So at this point the importance of the recon unit in offensive zones seems like it's much higher than I had thought. I'm also curious if it plays a large role in influence.

Windurst has been doing better and better in Campaign. When I first switched from Bastok, they would go back and forth between controlling either Mer. Mountains and Saruta. Now we've been controlling 2/3 of Saruta, Mer. Mountains & Sauromouge Camp. Salvemixers are casting Pro/Shell IV as well as Cure IV and Raise (dunno if that's based on how the country is doing). The Cure IV spam from them is great and makes it alot easier to fight/tank things.

I also got to see Azima in battle for the first time today and she just destroyed the Yagudo that came to Sauromouge. Plus I like her "<Giggle>..." taunt.
