I just did a Windurstian Campaign battle and holy hell are San d'Orian NPCs useless by comparison.
WTB Tachi: Kaitenga 3. :<
So we been working down the fortifaction in jugner to see what happens when we get them to 0, just hit 20 when this npc pops up.

Any one else had one at 0 yet hoping we take it over.
Hey how is everyone doing. Sorry for the gimp avatar but i'll fix that later i assume. Does anyone know how people pull singular mobs? I'm in pash right now and i cant help but pull the WHOLE base at (K-6) if anyone has any tips I'd appreciate it!
way were doing it is we have one pld with fast legs just kite them as far as they can with hymnus up while another tank pulls out a mob and takes it bak safe.
i have noticed that when we kill all 2-4 NMs depending on what pops or witch for they all warp out. then we drag mobs to the fort and just -ga them
We need a /ignorenpc function or something.
Also sucks getting killed for doing 200 damage on a nuke after the NPC leader does like a 1k WS too.. but I'll live.
Hmmm. Thats what we are doing right now. Im guessing we cant target NMs, we targeted a whm and it came over nice and smooth. Anyone have a strategy other than this one?
Windurst dominates pretty much (on Fairy at least). Whenever they do the tally Windy is going to take all their respective zones sans Merip. On the flip side, Bastok somehow has full beastmen bars in both N Gusta and Crawler's nest. -_-
Easy to see why after you participate in say.. Saruta's campaign. 30+ NPCs all casting to oblivion.Originally Posted by Vile

In Garlaige [S], the campaign npcs gather in H/I-7/8 on the 2nd map. There was a summoner there who pulled a bat to the npcs and started meleeing it. The NPCs didn't react whatsoever. Then, when he summoned Leviathan and had it attack, all of the npcs engaged the bat and killed it. He then pulled another and did the same.
An LS member also mentioned that in one of the campaign battles, the npcs repeatedly engaged and disengaged a BST and followed him around apparently attempting to attack him.
Ga'Dho Softstep is the DESTROYER OF WORLDS
Seriously, ~600+ AOE WS that he SUMMONS A BUDDY FOR TO DO WITH HIM. He killed like 30 people in the space of 10 seconds.
The NPC's seem to be able to pull mobs without linking, at least in outdoor areas. I watched Elivira and a group of RNG's in RDM AF do it in pashow. They pulled one mob out of ton huddled around a fortification, then pulled two with no links. Got some nice screens of it and of Elivira firing off WS's.
Just a thing I noticed: the excess exp from capping doesn't transfer into limit points, like other places.
is going rng and using ws the best way to find mobs during campaign? seems like everyone wants to wait near npc
My Blu/Nin friend and myself on War/Sam had this happen.Originally Posted by nivlakian

Kept spawning NPC's for a long time, had like 50 of them up.
Campaign gives limit points if you're on limit mode. Unless you mean "I got 600 points, only needed 200 to cap, and didn't get 400 limit points", in which case you're mistaken because absolutely nothing does that.Originally Posted by Inoiown

Either we got a glitch or that NPCs are not supposed to always appear to defend the Fortification.
We got a campaign right after a first one with Yagudo in Sarutabaruta - had to wait for like 30mins then Demon NM came with his Dark Elementals army, but no Taru NPC ever appeared during the fight. After slaughtering everyone, the Demons took 18/150 of Fortification health off before warping. And right after they warped, Taru army appeared ...
It looks like Demon Army movement is quite predictable based on the time you have to wait for them to come. Has anyone else seen a campaign in which there is no NPC from the nation?
Using ga spells on mobs near the walls definitely has an effect on the fortification level of a Beastmen army. When Campaign ended, we had like 3 BLM, a RDM/BLU and a BLU all spamming AoE magic on the walls. Sprites work really well for this, they resist magic and have high magic defense(Take like 1-2% of the normal damage from spells, we pulled one sprite which never died). The fortification eventually dissapeared, by then the fortification level had gone from 150 to 106.
