(Sorry if double post)
Yes list is legit, I have same things in Polutils.
And SCH get Regen 2 at 37, which means RDM/SCH get access to Regen 2 hehe...

I wonder if it'll be able to Stoneskin the whole party with /WHM.
problem is, it's not gonna get pt invites over whms or rdms without haste or refresh, so far i'm tossing this job into the SMN boat...
Unless there's a huge influx of new Manaburn camps. I might be asking for alot but, if your designing a job that can heal make it effective enough of a support that it can compete at an equal level.
I'm mostly interested in their ability to Raisega.
Even so, keep in mind:
Those abilities can only be used once every 4 minutes. It's hardly feasible in the scope of a PT.
also: What cockteases showing up Graviga at the fest when SCH can't even natively cast Gravity -.-
They can if they sub RDM. Along with Stoneskin... just like the presentation that should do doing both and subbing RDM. Sorry SCH/WARs, looks Scholar is a mage job!Originally Posted by Naramaska
What pisses me off is that was exactly the type of shit they showed to get people excited about the job, even subbed. Stupid, just like SMN, this jobs going to be largely dependent on its sub.Originally Posted by Naramaska
And now is when the great subjob debate begins, im gonna assume this job is going /rdm or /whm. The need for a healer far outwieghs the need for a specific DoT / enfeebler in exp.
Not to mention Reraisega with /whm.Originally Posted by BRP
The lack of -na spells would encourage /WHM, but I get the feeling they will be better off /RDM when not main healing.
EDIT: Phalanxga with /RDMStoneskinga too. Poor SMN.
EDIT: My only disappointment is the lack of status effect curing spells, even if it was less than the amount RDM or WHM have. A Poisona, Paralyna, and Silena would have been good.
Yea, I remember seeing R2, SS, Grav, Tier IV, -na, and Dispel on that list.Originally Posted by Gilthas
I'm not gonna freak out about this list till we get ingame.

/whm without a doubt, -na spells and erase.
for the BLM side i would assume /rdm, fast cast, more INT and still have the defensive abilities.
I'm almost positive that list has to be wrong. I flipped a shit when I saw stona on the FF list because only WHM main gets stona.Originally Posted by Ixidor
too bad accession is 40. I was really looking forward to hastega.Originally Posted by Hadibou
I'm starting to wonder if SE is really trying to obsolete whitemage as healers (most of the things whitemage has been getting lately have been support type things: stronger barspells, stronger shells, a mainjob crowd control; etc. and not stuff to extend their endurance as healers - which is the primary reason redmages are more popular/efficient in activities where endurance is more important than cure-bombing)
it'll be interesting to see where whm and rdm end up in another year or two with respect to healer and enhancing roles.
I think they want to let players have more than one or two choices for healers in the same way you have many choices for DD.
I wasn't at the fan fest, just trolled BG the whole duration, and i hope you are right, cause at the moment SCH is looking like a shit show.Originally Posted by Dakana

Do we even know what the Storm and Helix spells do yet? If not, people are being rather preemptive on hating the job...
Ok I lied it was the JP Fan Fest thing but here's the post

extremely potent DoT spells that increase based on the weather of the area if the appropriate element spell is cast.Originally Posted by Weavus
I can only hope you're right. Or maybe SE didn't add all the spells that Scholar will be able to use yet by mistake. I mean, after that whole Nation Standing thing for the Crystal War Event, it is possible...Originally Posted by Dakana
