I have yet to come up to date with the bastok missions.
How hard is the Fire in the hole BC (the one to protect the SCH)
and what's a good setup to do it?
thx

I failed Fire in the Hole trying to duo blu and rdm; too many mobs and not enough time. I got two other people and it went fine, group was blu/blu/blm/rdm.
The biggest problem is that Adelheid is pretty fragile and while you can grab hate from the mobs they will always eventually shift back to Adel. The first couple times you get attacked isn't hard but when they start showing up 10 mobs at a time things can get a bit crazy.
Basically, you need 2+ people to kill quadavs fast enough before they start waking up. Myself and the other Blu basically soloed the ones that showed up; any melee/nin would work but they'd probably work better ganging up on one quadav at a time. Our blm kept everything slept and then did some light nuking. The rdm kept everyone refreshed and cured up and ended up backup sleeping, when quadav showed up in two groups a few seconds apart.
One trick is that if you leave one quadav alive and slept Adelheid won't start moving on which gives everyone a chance to rest mp. Do this too often, though, and you'll hit the time limit.
If you have a lot of friends who can do this going with full 6 makes it pretty trivial as long as you have one person to sleep and one to cure.
i see thx
oh and um anyone from any nation can else, since i got the key right?
Everyone needs their own key in order to be able to enter.
going to guess that this is the reward:Bastok Markets (S), Gem Shop (J-9)

How many WotG freelance/serpent-general-esque quests are there? Are "Babban Ny Mheillea" and "Beast from the East" it?
What is the name of the Adelheid one?
I lied. I mixed Aldeheid and Areuhat (from Beast of the East quest). Sorry.
Finally catching up with missions, is Windurst BC "Feast for the Gnats" duoable? i.e. could a SCH or a SMN AoE cure bomb the mithra Wildcat volunteers and Romaa while a DD takes out the belfry?
Should be able to if you can keep more than a few of them alive to take the belfry down in a decent time. And when the belfry starts spawning monsters you should try to sleep them before they can aggro the Mithra.
In your opinion, would sandy BC "In a Haze of Glory" be soloable?
I saw a solo video from a SMN and it looks.. terribly easy, tho some people in my LS said they'd hardly believe it doable by just one person...
With the right setup it could be. I've easily duoed it many of times with people. DD + rdm/whm. Barpoison+barwater makes your resist the flasks/turret almost every time.
As long as you "pull" away enough of the orcs via killing flasks you should have cleared enough off the turret to manage.
I know this to be much safer, but won't this also take too long?As long as you "pull" away enough of the orcs via killing flasks you should have cleared enough off the turret to manage.
some of the solo guide I read all suggest to rush to the turret and pull orcs there.
Duo'd using SMN x2. Eclipse Bite x2 was good enough to kill most orcs and seemed to be the most efficient use of MP. Ignored any flasks near the beginning since it takes too damn long for the orcs to come all the way there to fix them and instead just broke ones that were closer to the turret (maybe did 3-4 on the way, I forget since it's been a while). Once at the turret you can Carby pull one orc at a time and once you've got them all cleared take down the turret.
